Join us as we use the AutoSim Pro to carry out a injector balance test proving our fault. We hope you enjoy. AutoSim Pro available from www.elite-diagnostic-solutions.com
Only just found your youtube page, Very good how you diagnosed the fault clear step by step instruction in what you are doing. Please keep the videos coming as there are appreciated 👍👍👍
Thank you sir. Good job. Was the Autosim pro pulsing the power to the injector or pulsing the ground from the injector? Have a blessed and safe week to you and your family.
Thank you Ryan. I watched it again. The Autosim pro is pulsing the ground from the injector. Little confusing because the setting in the Autosim pro is Pout (Power out). Is there a setting in the Pout for pulsing the ground? Thank you for everything.
Yes you are correct. So we used the "pulse" option in the tool which then gives you the option to either use it as a "POUT" (Power Out - 4a max output) or a "SOUT" (Signal Out - 0.15a max output) Due to this being a solenoid the SOUT option would not have worked correctly due to the lower current output limit hence we selected POUT. We then decided a good "on" & "off" time and how many times we wanted the injector to be pulsed, in this case 40 times with a "on" time of 10ms. Hope that makes more sense.
So not happy that a month after I purchased the Autosim the Autosim Pro became available. Great use of that tool Ryan. Quick question. Is the time for the pulse period set or is it dependant on how long you hold the button on for?
Unfortunately, we don't have a huge say over when the new tools are released by DITEX especially a months notice. With the tool you can set the time of the pulse to whichever parameters you wish. This was what we felt a good setting for the test in hand. Once the settings have been set you can just press "start" & the tool will then pulse as many times as you tell it for as long as you like.
