Pretty much the only vid on YT showing this walkthrough. Super handy! Put a K&N filter in my 2017 GTi this afternoon with my iPad on the side watching this vid. Wasn’t quite as deft as you though and I swore a lot! Any idea how the cabin filter is accessed? Is it via the inside/glovebox? Cheers :)
on the rcz you can get away with just undoing the airflow sensor and undo the 3 bolts on the air box and undo the jubilee on the air flow sensor and its a rotate and pull job done. litterally from start to finished in 2 mins flat , defo less space in the 308 engine bay
Thank you! A lot of work just for the Air filter. So after the 3-4 minutes, the ECU completely shuts down, then I can change the filter? And after it's done, do I need to "teach" the engine that the change is normal?
Last year (before I saw this), I managed to not have to remove the duct, but undo the jubilee clip and the ductconnection to the lid and lift/tilt the lid just enough to get the filter out and the new one in. What a pain though. Certainly wasn't 4 minutes (takes more time anyway to undo the torx screws!). Thanks Peugeot for putting it there - should be in one of the easiest places to change or inspect! Probably it is quicker just to remove the air duct as shown...
