PEUGEOT 407 BROKEN HEATER FLAP REPAIR DIY FIX PART 1 

First of all you should check your cabin air-filter just to make sure it's clean . If it looks dirty and full of dust then that may be the cause . Second thing to check would be the Servo-motors of the Directional flaps . They are 2 motors on each side . one for directional flaps and one for Mix-flat (that switch on heat or cold) Check on youtube , how to change cabin air filter / pollen filter for peugeot 407 , and how to check flap motor . So when you switch to the centre where's the air flowing ? To windscreen ? to legs ? Your problem might be : 1: -Broken flap (that switch's the airflow to Centre / Legs / Windscreen ) 2: - Blocked cabin filter (pollen filter) and on windscreen the airflow looks strong enough as the vents are much smaller than the centre ones . 3: - Electric servo motor witch if damaged , it will not switch at all , and would flow air only to the position that the flap is stuck . Do you have this problem on both sides ? (driver & Passenger ) >? Do the airflow switches when you switch to centre / Legs ? Is the airflow on Lower (legs) strong enough (as should be ) ?
