Hopefully the whole car park is gonna get tarmac this week so it will be much safer to do any work in a future. But then a job has to be done you can't choose sometimes just do your best.

I am always here to help. Your abs sensor ring is a part of a wheel bearing inside a wheel hub you can only see it if you undo the drive shaft and hub and pull a drive shaft out of the hub. Abs rings are unlikely to fail most likely its abs sensor. Some aftermarket abs sensors don't do the job needs to be oem quality. You can't replace just abs ring you have to get a new wheel bearing wich goes Inside the hub as a abs sensor ring is part of that bearing. It can be done at home with a right tools but garage can do it much easyer as 10 ton press is best tool to take it out and push new one in.

Reason i havent done it is becouse i have tried a same method with a 10mm thread and it snapped under tension when i try to remove bush so i didnt want to show that way in a video as once it snapped under tension it flew with a force and could have hurt me. However if you have a proper bush extractor tool design for it then it would deffinatelly same a lot of time.

Penetration fluid is a good shout i might try with that in a future

Hello and thankyou for a comment 407 dont really rust underneath atleast nowhere near as much as most of the cars of same age. If under engine tray has been used under the engine bay will look like new. If no under engine tray has been used then it will be a bit of rust but nothing that could affect any structure of the car. Subframe is aliuminium both front and rear suspension is mostly aliuminium shell is quite resistant to rust to unless there has been a damage before there it scrach to bare metal

Hi Stevo thankyou for your comment. I have not pressed out the bust becouse i didnt want to buy a proper tool specificly designed to press it out as i was doing only 2 bushes, it is much harder to take it out rather then push it in. I have tried a number of 10mm rods with sockets and bolts and they all snap under presure and go flying. So i decide not to show that kind of way in my video as i dont want to be responsible for someone killing themselfs if the rod snaps under tension then you are removing a bush and goes flying to someone's head.

I wouldn't know mate. I don't really use a shops but investing in a proper Bush removal tool is highly advisable as it cost like 40£ and you save yourself a lot of time trying to nock old one out.
