Not a fan of French car companies in general but that interior design is just drop dead gorgeous. This is the first time I've seen such a interior design as if it was a concept car.
@@slyrod9718 D'après Linda Jackson (DG de Peugeot) dans la vidéo de POA, c'est trop tôt pour le dire, mais il y a fort à parier qu'ils vont en sortir une. 😉
I've never been a fan of french cars but Peugeot have really been on point with the design of all their cars in recent years. The 508 is just a glorious thing to look at.
I can’t believe that the speedometer in ur iPhone matches completely with the cars speedo!!! But that interior tho. Really a peace of art IMO and the car in that spec looks amazing!!!
It's obviously a much much more evolved version than the old shitty prince engine, but I'd still prefer the 2.0 HDi. That diesel simply proved itself to be one the great engines to ever exist.
Well, using an old engine is also a good thing. It means that the engine is reliable, because being on cars for so many years, any issues are already fixed
@@jerkopatrik No, actually it THP, just with the new timing gear. When you look at the construction changes done up to 2018r., they have not fixed all problems for 14 years since 2006. PSA is just extremely cheap on engines.
@@silimarina. This engine (1.6 THP/1.6 Puretech) is one of the most flawed engines in the recent history of cars. It was co-designed by PSA and BMW. Its actually BMW-designed elements in engine that fail often (valvetronic, variable timing gear, etc), the block and core components like pistons are derived from even older series of PSA TU series engines from the 80s - that's how cheap PSA is (but those are actually reliable). Seeing how often those engines fail, BMW stopped using them in Mini or 1 series a few years ago... But PSA is so cheap on engines they must use the 1.6 in all of their hybrids and DS premium cars.
mine got 180 hp and it honestly feels like the same, i got the 2020 mod tho. But you feel like you do something wrong when u hit the pedals to the metal, may also be because i am used to a V8, but drop dead beautiful car with lots of options and good space for my family
@@das_mo yeah I know, it's just because I want to see everything in one area. If I want to see it again, I have to interrupt the video and rewind back to the start
@@zheson5-speed953 bruuh have you seen part prices for japanese cars? I also pay for my g30 400€ Service a year. Just go to a workshop you trust. Dealerships often got bad workshops
Realy nice car, but too heavy. Yes, it is a hybrid and the battery is heavy, but there are other hybrid cars in this class that are lighter. This car should have had 1750-1800kg max.
@@Bel.fares_2.0 instead of disrespecting French brands, know that the word sport has never been part of the brand and that it now focuses more on high-end travel cars at rather low prices and very competitive. So 👎👎👎👎👎👎 for you.
@@MC_Allan My friend I do not like France for several reasons .... Including injustice and hatred on Islam, however, the President of France says that his country guarantees human rights ..... @@Bel.fares_2.0 The things you are saying are just racist, the French people today are not like that at all, I can tell you that because I am a French figure you. At school when we were little, we learned about the mistakes France made, including this one ... Also, don't confuse everything with the president and everything else. You don't even know the opinions of the French and you don't even know what's going on in France and you dare to criticize. Know that the French of today are no longer like that. And just because there have been incidents and crimes (which there have been between other countries) does not mean that you have to hate a country because of it. You can almost buy a Golf R wagon AND seat leon cupra wagon for the price of the peugeot.. Not sure wtf was going through their heads when they priced it along the likes of Audi S4 etc
Maybe this time Peugeot actually offered something which has that kind of value ? If its a wrong price Then give us an idea what it really should cost ? But remember that this kind of cars are expensive to both develop and produce.
@@Andreas16375 Seat Leon cupra and Golf R wagon do not have style. Those are bland german designs, leon cupra tries to fake being a spanish alfa romeo, but you can see its pimped VW. Interiors of golf and especially leon are laughable when you compare them to high spec 508 like PSE. If only 508 had V6 engine...

@@smd4699 Its only 4.3 seconds, you're making it sound like its a massive difference. Even a properly broken in PSE in a years time will slash at least half a second. My 308SW 2.0BlueHdi is remaped and the difference is huge, 150HP/370Nm vs 200/450Nm, but on the stopwatch 80-180 is like 24 vs 18s...
The power delivered from the petrol engine is actually "just" 225hp which is pretty realistic for a performance-oriented 1.6l, the rest of the power is generated by the electrical engines and delivered to the rear wheel which makes it some kind of AWD
