Yeah I definitely think the boxers are one of the nicer vans out there, definitely be my next one. Currently have a dispatch which is the same as the expert and yeah I can't fault it, cracking little van and hopefully will keep going for a few more years, very underrated vans 👍

@@roughtownraptors absolutely, Peugeot don't really receive anywhere near the kind of credit that they deserve. But appear to have some major contracts across the UK now, such as Police Scotland, various police forces across England, Royal Mail, NHS PTS (Patient Transport Service for non-emergency cases). My parents owned a 405 turbo diesel for 13 years, I myself had a 205 diesel for 3 years and even in 2017 I had the hire of a 17-reg new style Expert from Arnold Clark for a day just to move a mattress about 20 miles. They are so comfortable, and as far as the French cars are concerned they are by far the classiest and the quality of their interior finishing has really come on a lot. In fact many motoring journalist would place them up alongside Audi or BMW in terms of their quality and reliability these days where large family saloons and estates are concerned these days.

Totally agree with you, the top coat is shocking on them, as you say it doesn't appear to adhere to the primer through whatever process they use. Good job someone had the hindsight to dip them or they would be rot boxes. That said they are a bonnie looking van and more room then their rivals to play with 👌

@@roughtownraptors I think I've worked out what the problem is with these affected colours. It's that they are affected by the sunlight. I was recently working on a silver van that had been sign written, in places the paint was starting to lift and come away, but not where the vinyl lettering had been. In these very specific areas the paint was still solid and couldn't be scraped off even with a razorblade. Recently just acquired a very straight 21 plate citroen relay (same van and problems) that has perfect paint at the moment. Think I might vinyl wrap the whole thing though😁. Yes, the body shell is very nice on these, good room and easy to access everything for the most part.

Hi, it's actually a body shop plane, Velcro back for the pads that go on it. Think it's a mid size, they do bigger ones. sure you can get them on eBay or Amazon. Got mine off my local paint supplier, cheers

Hi, thanks 🙏 I have heard people using 25litre tanks but they run out of air real fast so you'll be constantly waiting for pressure. I'd say 50 litre minimum but ideally a 100 litre. Psi needs to be a constant 60-70 to maintain the same texture throughout. Thanks 👍

Hi, if you mean filler then I currently prefer using onelite by sprint. It's a nice easy filler to work with. Key the area first with 80 or 120 grit so the filler gets a good bond, cheers 👍

About 24 bottles all in I reckon, I buy it on 5 litre tins so I lose track lol

so how many 5L tins? xD... 24 of those bottles is 24L that seems like a lot of paint

Yeah that's about right, it does seem a lot but it goes on thicker then conventional paint so has less coverage per square meter. 3 tins of 5l, if you go on eBay Marlow paints do a 3 litre kit for around 550 and if you time it right you can get a discount. You will then need a pack of black for the plastics and you'll have to rinse one of the bottles out to use for the colour 👍
