Yesterday the e2008 was effortless in a long drive but the standout moment was when my passenger said that the audio system in the car was the very best he has heard. I used to install systems for many years and I must agree that the set up is really top end in sound. Kudos to the Peugeot engineers for fitting such a well developed sound system.
@@TotallyEV Been told around May time- will be my first EV and first Peugeot- the looks and the interior really sold it to me, having always had Audi in the past. 0% tax as company car also a bonus!
I've been driving my (2021) E-208 since february, but I can't say I like the audio. I listen to a lot of different types of music (Think classical to folk/deathmetal and everything in between) and the speakers can't handle anything well, especially at medium/lower volumes. if I turn the volume up I get the clarity and bass I want, but at ~10-15 (where I'd like it to be) I only get mids. I did find out turning off the "Adapt volume to driving speed" option really helped with sound quality, but one can only EQ so much... Does anyone have recommendations for better speakers?
Thanks for sharing, that's the hatchback not the vehicle on review here - unless it was a typo? As for other speakers - unfortunately not, you'll have to look into forums or specialist audio companies for that one!
