Hi, I have a problem with the same scooter When I want to turn it on, I have to completely clog the air supply with my hand, otherwise it won't work. When I start riding the scooter, it chokes and won't go, and when I close the air supply with my hand, it starts to go well. Now I have partially closed the inlet with duct tape, but I have a problem because it will not work idle. To what it can be, thanks in advance. The piston, hoops, crankshaft bearings, cleaned carburetor, cleaned air filter were replaced on the scooter.
I have one of these has a spark has fuel carb has been cleaned all new pipes but it keeps siezing off the kickstart haven't got a battery on it but it will sieze up and when you turn the fan with a screwdriver it will be allright for about 5-6 kicks
hi bud if it's seizing or jamming it sounds like piston or crank jam?first take of the variator system and see if you can crank it round without jamming, if it's ok them check out the variator system if it does jam then it's head off and see what's going on hope that helps please like share and sub and I have many other videos that will help including the speedifight ones and l also have a video on replacing the head and piston toomark
mark savage thanks it has had a new top end all gaskets and stuff as piston was gone but now it will not start it's only on the kickstart no battery but it will not start at all just keep kickin and kicking it fires but done run had new coil and all new fuel pipes what can that be please get back to me on my e mail as I will reply quicker thanks newmankai14@gmail.com
kai newman sounds like a crank seize These are water cooled and the head may have blown letting in water or just seizing You will have to take the head off and inspect bud Be careful not to snap any bolts on the head as they do like snapping then it’s a new head too I have a video on me changing ahead in my videos give that a watch on the computer as you will get to see it Please like share and sub Mark
Could it be that they added the fuel tap as a rudimentary anti-theft mechanism - seens as it looks to be hidden, within hands reach behind a panel? - Obviously ignoring the float is stuck anyway...
umm it's a possibility but don't think so in this case as the vacuum was faulty, I bet if someone did fit it as a anti theft the would forgot to turn it on them self's lol. thanks for the comment and watching . mark
one time my bike did the same thing, didnt start. it did start af first, but then bogged down and cut out, didnt start anymore. i checked EVERYTHING had to take the entire scooter apart, and finally i saw it... the vacume line leading to the vacume valve for petrol was loose... if i knew that it would have been 3 second fix...

i watch your videos every once in a while, when im done with fixing my own of my friends bikes, i just go on youtube and pop a video or two! later when i have my own house i will probably do the same as you, just fix peoples bikes in my shed. my dream life would that be! :D
Hi Mark I have a speedfight 2 50cc I found out the reason why the bike wouldn't start it had a 100cc stator plate and coil in, also the timing sensor was loose and rubbing on the plate
hi bud , as in my other video I had the same sort of thing, I had a immob stator in my bike that was a none immob?, so worth the watch so you know I know what you went through lol, good to hear you found it and can sort it . make you think who fitted it and why they did notice it when fitting!! ,, mark
mark savage I have watched that video already haha, I have ordered a 50cc plate today but hopefully will have it soon, also any videos you can do about the carb bolts DE loosening them self tighten and then come loose again?
hi ,every bike 'moped will have a cdi bud but sounds poss like the last owner may have played with it give him a message and ask what he had played with and done, otherwise all panels off and have a good look over it then google cdi and see what comes up for your moped
I've not got any sp3's at the mo, I'm guessing they will be an elec oil pump and under the left hand side lower fairings , trace where it comes from the main oil tank .it will be a plug and play item so not a fix but buy another, hope that helpsI do have a video of the sp2 oil pump so maybe give that a watch as it should still help and please like share and subscribe , mark
hi just seen your private message to, as in my other 50 odd videos I have a few on the sp3's and don't love them lol as harder to work on plus they hate me,any way so you changed the exhaust I see, did you up jet? change the airfilter? service the bike , so I'd check the rollers and variator system belt and clutch as it sounds like you are revving but not going any where . so it's a good place to start ,
stock carb with stock jets, stock airfilter, worn out belt, i was scared of the sound it makes it sounds soo bad when it idles people tell me that the crankshaft is bad what do you think ? as for the variator i ordered a new malossi kevlar belt (the clutch is good i saw it and it has brand new rollers)
if the belts bad it will let the variator rattle and damage the roller too?, wait till you get the new belt the clean and sort out the variator replace belt and give it a go, as for crank well first sort out the other if still bad then yes it could be. mark
some are friends of friends bikes so I give them back or others are mine or I sell on, if I put all the time and effort and money in to it I only make a few £ or even a loss lol but it's a good hobby I enjoy. thanks for watching please like share subscribe and watch some of my other videos . mark
Hi mark Just come across your videos as my son got a Peugeot ludix blaster on Thursday and today it stopped working. I have no clue about mopeds so I’m hoping you will be able to point me in the right direction. It starts and runs idle but won’t pull away. If it’s on the centre stand the back wheel spins but very little and when I spin it it wobbles and feels like it’s got to much movement from side to side. Clutch looks like it’s all fine and belt spins fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kerry Lampard hi I do have a few other videos on this moped and a load more on speedfight with the same basics So start with carb and clean New plugs as in my videos and check the variator / rollers As long as it runs piston should be ok

Hi sorry to be a pain again I've clean all my carb thanks for your help only problem is when the bike has been started it's just on full throttle the throttle is loose and so is the cable any tips on how to fix
the oil light is also immob light / alarm ! , however if running ok and your tank is full it just maybe a bad connection so check wires or take sender out and clean or replace
hi wondering if you can help me out I have a Peugeot ludix 50 elegance that's had a new spark plug and new Piston when I use the electric start it just clicks and when I use the kick start it's wanting to start but can't can you give me advice please
Hi bud Watch my electric start video ,its on a speedfight but its the same Kick start works but still won't start Wet hand test like in my videos ? Plug wet when you turn over ? Have you cleaned carb ? Used easy start ?
donnell yes bud , I used to add a little extra bit 2 t oil in with the petrol , this helps to stop it seizing and less running in time , really just for the first few runs make them short like a few miles and not full power and as it feels good after a full tank then it should be fine , hope that helps please like share and subscribe , mark
I have a 2006 blaster and my headlight and indicators have stopped working, do you know where the flasher relay is located? I have searched the whole loom and have had no luck finding one
Thought it would be under the main front plastics dash area But as the head lights are not working either theres a bigger problem Indicators work from battery, lights from the stator Go back over the loom and connectors Check main battery fuse Does it electric start?? Drop test the battery bud Use a power volt meter to trace the power output to the lights etc Guessing you did check the head light bulb
mark savage I have looked under every panel not one there to find, I done some more research online and apparently it is built into the speedo unit, makes a bit more sense because it doesn’t usually take long to find the relay, I think a part of my look has burnt so I am looking to buy another whole loom now, thanks for replying so quickly
mark savage if you do come across one and you a breaking it for parts I will buy a complete loom for good money, I have found the harness from stator has burnt wires so new one is a must I think

i started with the speedfights 100 videos as i had loads of them well over 400 so far then the aeroxs and did about 20 videos then just what came in but 480 videos in total so something for everyone , but thanks for watching

Nathan Wells257 hi , I would of said do what you have just done with the carb airfilter and plug !! Did u change anything before it started doing it ? Is any random time or just when it's wet? As they do suffer from electrics ! Maybe some wd40 on the electrics and connectors /ht lead , does the engine die or sound ok , have you looked at the rollers / belt? hi bud ok the Bendix! it sits in the engine casing and then you put the cover on it also sits in to that, as you turn the start over it comes out to meet the outer teeth part of the variator. you say its throwing it self out? so is it spinning and not turning the engine, or loose and coming out of it's seating ? I have a few videos on the variator system and Bendix and over 50 on all sorts of thing best give them a watch as some should be really helpful, I also have them on another channel so all in one place, give them a watch and please like share and subscribe . mark
mark savage when I put the casing on it just sounds like it's chewing the teeth and not turning over it worked before I changed the belt and I watched your video to change the belt
ok so start over bud, take it all back off, when you take off the variator check the rollers are seated ok and that they also don't need changing clean as in this video so it's all free . put it back on then the belt and tighten back up replace and see how it starts then. hopefully you have not done too much damage to the teeth , you may need to replace the Bendix but hopefully not , see how you get on bud.mark
Bradley Bunn oh yes that are harder to find ! If not new try beakers off speedfights but I think scooterworks sell them , the 100 are bigger and the 50cc will not fit ! Mark
Yodings no bud they have a vacuum system so why would they need a shut off tap? , maybe on newer ones but not worked on one yet so can't say ! , hope your ok bud and thanks for your comment Mark
