richard283 Hi! Gilera Nexus have high seat(With my height 176 sm. is difficult to get to the ground) Gilera Max speed is about 120 km/h. Peugeot Compressor max speed is about 130 km/h. Both scooters are good enough for the city.My choose is Satelis.The choice is yours. Take what you like! Good luck!
Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. I definitely like design of Nexus 125 more than Satelis, but I know that design is not the most important thing. My height is almost 190 cm so this should be no problem to reach the ground. :-) I have no experiences with scooters this will be my first one so I am trying to collect experiences of owners as much as I can. I live in capital city (Bratislava - Slovakia) and the traffic hereis quite is huge so scooter may be good alternative for traveling. Is acceleration of Nexus 125 enough to be not overtaken by trucks or buses which could be dangerous?
richard283 Hi! In the city the power scooter is more than enough! Outside the city comfortable speed is about 90-100 km/h Acceleration from 100km/h to 120km/h is very sluggish. So to overtake large trucks and buses you can, but you need to understand that overtaking can be tightened.
I was thinking that I dont want to be overtaken by buses and trucks. :-) This could be dangerous. For me is important to drive the same speed like other cars especialy in the city.
