To explain how artstyles devlope. Yes it often starts with "stealing" from the art styles you like. But over time, while we gain experience and devlop our own preferences and habbits, it slowly devlopes into it's own style. FUrther down the line you figure out how to controll and devlop your artstyle conciously and thatÄs how super unique styles like Baki's find their way into existance.

29:00 Art style isn't actually what people think it is, like, you don't ''get one'', an art style, in my experience, is just you drawing stuff in a way that you draw them fast, its why like, when you think of a style you'd think of a cool specific eye shape right, but like, that shape isn't ''oh i thought of this style and i painstakingly do it every time'' and instead its ''i know how to draw eyes like this real quick like cause it feels natural to me''. Basically, ime, artstyle is how you do shortcuts in art, and people develop shortcuts in different ways and shapes cause it comes easier to them and paired with how they learned and what they like, it ends up making them a bit unique.

I never watched PewDiePie religiously but I've always admired him. Yeah he's made some mistakes along the way but the man has a good heart.

if i had any advice to give to someone learning to draw it would be this: DO NOT use the "ill enjoy drawing when i'm good" mentality, it will never happen. As people become more experienced in a craft, their ability to judge said craft also improves. you'll literally be chasing your own shadow. its important to enjoy what you're doing when you're doing it. ive seen a lot of artists with imposter syndrome or really low self esteem despite being very talented.

I remember watching him do photoshop on live stream. it was a lotta fun. The first manga I ever read was kekkaishi vol. 14 I believe and I read the first three pages wrong before I figured it out. Ruined the volume but had a basis for where the story was going. The whole time reading I was looking forward to knowing the context. I'm weird, I care more about the context than I do the conclusion. edit: OMG IT WAS VOL. 14! I don't know how I remembered that. I read it in middle school! Kekkaishi IS my favorite manga series though. I borrowed the manga from a kid in the middle of class. I had just finished a book and he was bragging that chapter books don't compare. Before this very moment I had never watched an anime or read a manga. This event is what transformed me forever into a neet. I was finishing chapter books and doing homework. Never had a dirty thought on my mind.

Pewdiepie is honestly the most successful man ever like he's rich but not stupid rich where it makes you ungrateful, he has a loving beautiful wife, a handsome son, still pretty youthful himself too! did everything he had to for youtube and still an amazing guy by uploading his day to day life every once awhile like keeping us updated because he knows we would all like that information about him. he was even able to say the N word and basically walk away with it not hurting him much except maybe potential black friends or something. But overall Felix deserves everything he has, amazing life and next year im visiting Japan with my friend so I pray to god by chance I get to see Felix for the first time in my life hopefully not doing family activities so i can go up to him i wouldnt want to say anything if he was busy with family

tbh art style developing comes partially from how you use your art supplies, like how you hold the pens/pencils, how heavy handed you are, how much pressure you use when you draw, and partially it comes from experimenting to see what you yourself like to see. for example my art style mainly comes from me preferring to use coloured line art when i draw digitally, and from how much time i spend sketching before i line it. part of it also comes from what tools you use, especially if you do digital art, since there are so many different brushes people use just for sketching. part of it also comes from how you use shapes, and which shapes you prefer to use, along with if you use a lot of hard and sharp edges or if you prefer to use very soft edges. it really comes from a lot of experimenting and it's something that always is evolving and changing, so experimentation is very important if you're not sure if you like your art style

Decade+ of consistent uploads will change any man for better or worse. I think the main reason he went into semi-retirement is because he realized that he alone couldn’t govern his 100mil+ audience of teen Redditors (still preferable to Dream’s tens of millions of stans), so he allowed his audience to grow up by stepping down from mainline influencer territory. This is obviously a massive mental health buff as the guy moved forward with having a family and is pursuing other passions in his 30s! How many of us in our twenties already feel like senile old men that can’t have fulfilling lives?! Proud of Felix for leaving his full time career off with a bang, he still very clearly loves his audience enough to share his interests and passions with them.

I'm honestly really happy for PewDiePie. I never thought I'd see the day where he's living such a happy life with a beautiful wife and kid, and then on top of all that, branching out into other forms of artistic media and succeeding! I personally find it VERY inspirational. It feels so.. WEIRD since I wasn't even much of a PewDiePie fan back in the day, but here I am now, actually interested in following his life and seeing how it develops. As a side note, I'm a fledgling artist myself, so seeing that he was able to improve his art style so much in just 100 days gives me hope that maybe I will eventually improve too if I can keep at it like he did.
