Nice job. I really like the attention to detail on running the PEX in the ceiling. Two quick questions if you don't mind. 1. What is the water pressure at the manifold inlet? 2. What is the diameter of the manifold inlet pipe?
@andrewrohde2373 thanks! 50 psi to the manifold. I have 1.5 inch running 400 feet from the road and then 1 inch after the pressure regulator into the manifold.
Well done. I did the same setup several years ago. The issue I ran into l, I used PEX B 1/2. It is slightly smaller Id than PVC or PEX A. This caused a volume problem and a long wait for hot water. I'm about to start a new house and was more leaning to a 3/4 main feed to each bath and kitchen to help with the volume. On the heat side not sure if it will be better so may need a small water heater at each location?
@TechSupport-ki8pc I'm used to waiting for the hot water a bit with a tankless anyway. Not ideal either way you have to choose between quicker hot water or equal pressure.
@lolMyke I'm not. Everything being wireless now has not been an issue for me. Also with the attic trusses you can run plumbing, wiring, etc anytime in the future with ease.
