Lana at her loveliest in this episode, dressed in the height of winter fashion, too. I wish her boss at the diner would get off her back about helping out on her day off. I believe I detected the brief, passing shadow of an overhead mic across Betty's forehead in her hospital scene with Martin Peyton. Very fleeting & of no consequence. Continue to love the snow---and every moment Rachel's onscreen!
Wow, did not know that Natalie Wood (my hero!) was Lana's sister - they both are/were extremely beautiful and very talented....genes are an amazing thing!
I knew of Lana being Natalie's sister during the time she was on Peyton Place. Years later, I saw a documentary about Natalie Wood(who'd died by then)and was happy to see one of those interviewed was Lana.
As a proprietress, and considering the pistol is registered, the appropriate thing to do is report it immediately to the police that the pistol is missing. But this is the idiocy of people in Ada's class ~ they have as little to do with the police as possible. I'm surprised Ada even had her pistol registered! But the writers had to somehow alert Chris to the whereabouts of a pistol to murder Lee, or at least attempt to murder Lee.
