Original air date: July 3, 1967 on ABC. Michael checks in on Rachel at the Carsons......Lee's worried that Martin summoned him in order to fire him.....
So, we find out that Chandler is still a creep, but not quite the monster Rachel made him out to be. We also find out that Rachel isn't the poor innocent waif she tried to portray.
Really smooth, Dr Rossi. Had Rachel awakened in the dark to find the shadow of a man holding a plush toy and watching her silently, she likely would have screamed!
+Sam Edwards Their kiss (the one Rita witnessed) blew me away the first time I watched. Thought for sure Rita would give Rossi a good talking to, but it never happened. Also, Rossi's not to happy with Rodney going out on dates with Rachel. Is Rossi having a mid-life crisis, or is he having a mid-life crisis? :-)
+Sam Edwards The only thing I can think of, Sam, is that Martin's fully aware that Steven's a driven, ambitious man. I think Martin wants to bring him down a notch or two-----but Martin's shenanigans regarding the will/trying to break up Steve & Betty's marriage is above & beyond the call. I would've killed to see a genuine heart-to-heart conversation between Martin & Steven, where Martin apologizes to his grandson regarding the incidents years ago. Was Catherine's secret/indescrettion worth all of what Steven had to endure as a child??
