Just when I thought you couldn't possibly earn anymore cool point than you already have, you tell me that you prefer Cinema 4d just like I do. You're the man.
@viigraphix cool shot. My guess is that they used motion control cameras so that they could repeat the same camera movement in the exact same way multiple times. Each time they do the movement, they change things. Then in post they layer each camera move clip on top of each other then animate masks to cut out the parts of the original clip that they want to show through to the layer below. That's the basics of the shot. There are quite a few other factors that go into it.
@thevfxbro Thanks man, I really appreciate that coming from you guys. Ya most of the 3D motion tracking was very minor, just keeping the bottle suspended in the air, very simple. But ya the car scene was kind of the glue that held the video together :P Thanks again :D
although i may be wrong, pf track is better for geometry/3d tracking and mocha is better for planar tracking as for the muzzle shockwave effect, you animate a 'doughnut' shape to expand and then use it for a displacement map. search his channel, he has the tutorial
would you be able to do a tutorial on the same effect but with Boujou as i'm finding it difficult to find a good tutorial for this form of camera free move. i'v watched corridor digitals 'nodal pan' but this doesn't go into any 3D camera movement
This is cool man! im trying to track a scene were there is no movement of the camera just the talent in the center of the shot on a rotating chair (desk chair) ive put tracker markers on both sides of the chair and wondered what the best technique was for me to use ?
there's a related video to the right called "SynthEyes Head Tracking Rig" which is the closest to the Ghost Rider effect I've seen done on RU-vid actually, which is pretty sad, this related video has the skull all tracked and what not, only thing he'd need is fire, but in the actual Movie "Ghost Rider", they gave the skull head emotions and what not, meaning like, talking and facial expressions, which would take a lot of animating in your 3D modeling program
Quick question. In Cinema 4d, lets say that after positioned your cube over the geometry object, if you accidentally move your camera, how would you reposition it to go back to where it will match the footage?
hey vfx bro! I have been trying to track my chest to make it look like i got shot with a arrow lol...but i need some geometry that would match a male torso...
Please could anyone tell me the what is the best iMac for after effects 3d max and pftrack. I mean the cpu , ram etc..... plz I need help !! I hope the vfxbro could answer me or anyone else. Thanks! :)
I have to qeustions, can you use PFtrack with blender, and how does the trial work, do you ged a green x or does it work for a certain amount of days or aren't you able to export the data etc. Keep up the great work!!
in the movie Secret (chinese movie) Alice Tzeng is playing a piano, whats your take on how this effect is done ? It's a time lapsed shot and I'd (and hopefully we as a community) would like to know your thoughts.
A chalenge for you good sir, let say there was a close up on the dude with the dots in his face how would you remove them, you know before he gets the block on his head? detailed answer pleas
I'm glad I found you through final cut king, but honestly I couldnt stand him. not sure exactly what it was. but there was something about him that made me hate him
whats the different between that tracking program and Moca tracking ( AE ). Other thing... How Can do that effects at 00:30 Im not talking about shooting im talking about motion blur invisible.
Can you do a tutorial for the cube staying in place, then falling on the tracked head and then explodes please ? I'm making à film and I need some help. Thank you.
Hey. My only problem is that when I go to C4D to composite, I have trouble with it looking more lively because my subject throws his head back often. Meaning my shape goes rotates back in z space and you see the bottom surface of it as its NOT actually attached to the neck. How do I solve this?
Sorry I'm abbusing this vid for my question but something doesn't work with mine. I objecttracked something like a (visa-) card. The tracking is pretty 'darn' good ass well. So when I try to export it to max, it only exports my camera. Wich is not animated and usefull only to get the camera right in max at once. So what i would like more is to have the export of an animated card. Now it exports still; In export behind plane from / to it says N/A is that normal? help me plz :)
How long does it take for the PF track email take to come? I tried filling in the form for it and i appeared nothing happened? and still nothing in my email. I have tried with multiply emails still nothing? Any help please?
Hey man, I love your work. Congrats on the youtube creator camp. I actually used 3D motion tracking in my latest videos. Could you take a quick look and let me know what you think?
