I go driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 3 iron, 5-pw. Gapping is pretty good, 210-220 yard shot, I just take a bit off my 3 iron

I got no fittings on my putter, and I putt just fine. I took my legendary fittings from my putter and upgraded them for wedge and irons, that's where it really makes a big difference

Good idea.MidKnight will be easier for me to direct people to your content. I too have removed hybrids,and my 5 wood.Iron distances are insane compared with 2k21.This worries me going forward. Maxed out players are on a different course.Fairway bunkers are not in play and heavy rough doesn't matter And then with pay to win balls added to the mix.Not very realistic is it.

Think I figured the best (non cheating) way to farm fittings. Career Mode, CPU difficulty Hard, Course conditions Very Easy. Play the first tourney with Harold Verner as the rival. Beat him then reset the career and repeat. Rival reward garantees a fitting and with it set to hard I haven’t gotten anything less than a Green fitting.

I find if you boost your power too high on the wedges you overshoot your range on normal swings with the lob wedge. So a 65 yard shot with the lob wedge (normal) might be a 80 yard shot with increased power added, forcing you to switch to a pitch shot. And since the pitching wedge is part of irons, I don't think it's useful to add power to wedges. IMO.

Very helpful information. Your video on club fittings really helped me out! I have an off topic question. I was wondering if there is a difference between the PS4 version and PS5 version besides the hardware running it. I bought the PS4 version on release day and have since got my hands on a PS5. The game runs a lot smoother on the PS5, but basically looks the same. I'm wondering if the PS5 version is actually better in any way?

Is Greensman the best because it's easier to boost transition and timing over put path and weight? Maybe test that

Can someone tell me why I can't change clubs with the up down or left right buttons on PS4? TIA

Thanks for the info! One question, when level 50 is reached, can we still earn VC for playing rounds? Or since the leveling up is finished is earning restricted to rivalries and other event winning only? It would be cool if they still award the VC that way somehow.

The UI and menus of this game are atrocious. It’s so bad I may give up and go to EA golf. All the text is fine print and it’s just hieroglyphics. Really frustrating that this game needs constant 20 min long videos JUST to explain fittings and attributes. awful
