We have a student whose rank was around 8000 as well. So the thing is, the person who's busy in thinking whether they should prepare or not ultimately does not crack the exam. Jinko clear karna hota hai wo abhi chupchap padhayi kar rahe honge and they'll get here. You should not even be asking this question because you do not have a lot of choices right now, instead prepare and give the exam. That way you'll at least have an option to choose from rather than thinking that I won't give PGEE with whole heart just because my GATE got fucked up.

In terms of placements, No. In terms of curriculum, there are a few courses which CSIS students have to take compulsorily and CSE students have a choice. But all in all, there's almost no difference.

I have an issue filling the form, When asked 'if appeared for Gate?' if you select yes then they ask you to fill in score and attach the scorecard and we don't have that at present..!! Yes and I feel so because IIIT-H has a greater reputation in industry I believe, more hectic curriculum so it's a boon for people who want to learn a lot and the last factor being higher fees of IIIT-B. But if you prefer an easier life for your Masters then you can go for IIIT-B.

@PraddyumnShukla Bhaia when i filling up the form it ask for gate score but rank card still not published so am I have fill up the form after gate result out or there is any other way to update the gate score later like barc.
@@PraddyumnShukla bhaiya thank you for reply and i am checking for there fees it is to high so can get loan from my first sem I can't afford that much of amount at a time if I get seat iiitH. because I am searching for loan document requirement they said that you have to prove that you get seat of college and fee structure is needed is iiith will help for that . I also find that there are some amount to give for block the seat after qualify pgee is it is not sufficient to apply loan for sbi branch of iiith from first sem onward.
@@sahebsarkar8330 you can easily get loan from SBI which is on campus. Do not think about loan as of now, you haven't cleared the exam yet. So focus on clearing that first.

is 12400 stipend will be provided to students who get admission through pgee also or stipend will be provided to those students only who get admission through gate ?
First of all, there is no mode of admission into IIIT Hyderabad via GATE. You can only get a seat via PGEE. Secondly, the stipend is given by the government. If you have qualified GATE, you'll get the stipend. It has no relation with your college whether it's IIIT or a normal college (but it should be AICTE approved)
Hi bhaiya I want to ask you that if their is interview this time is their such thing during the admission that the students who got good score in gate exam are more preferred or it depends completely on what you performed in pgee. I messed up with gate because of college exams and getting only 46 marks should I appear or should I take a drop.
If we qualify PGEEE, and got a really good gate score, to get admission into MTECH cse , will they directly give admission? Or Is it compulsory to sit for the interview round?
one more qn wanna ask, in dbms syllabus - transaction nd indexing not mentioned , r qns not coming from tht area? nd in c prog coding related mcq qns r coming or not or only that code type qns coming? actually m trying to strt prep from today but not understanding where to strt as syllabus is some strange.....also this yr coa isn't mentioned in the syllabus...... nd plz mention tht too what kind of qns coming in algo like in algo syllbus it's written "Basic Algorithms & Problem Solving" - is it TC related qns or here we have to write algo or smthng new? nd if u remember what kind of qns coming in DM compared to gate then plz tell that too.......
1. If something is not mentioned then it more than likely it won't be there in exam. 2. Coding questions (understanding the given code and marking the MCQ - not writing the code) may come and most probably they will. In 2021 pgee writing the code questions were there (but mostly basic) and in 2022 pgee writing the code was not there. 3. If I remember correctly, TOC and compiler design is not asked in PGEE, but just confirm with the official syllabus. 4. "Basic Algo and problem solving" is the same as data structure and algorithms. 5. When compared to gate, every cs related question was mostly basic and not at the level of gate. Tip: I remember the questions in CS were mostly theoretical, as in, you didn't need to pick up a pen to solve it. But don't let that make you complacent. All the best!
@@yashsinghal8820 as some were saying that eventhough in syllabus they didn't mentioned then also they are asking questions from that so i was confused what to do nd what not to Nd yeah toc, cd not there but this year they have also removed Coa that's best part xD So theoretical questions are coming then it's uselss to practice Gate pyqs? as i strted yesterday 🙂 Any source to practice or coaching notes r enough to answer, cz in Gate i was doing mistake in some theoretical msqs while numericals I'm able to solve it easily :)
@@mansi_somani_ms do practice PYQs, they help reinforce the basic underlying concepts. I think the key to cracking PGEE is the aptitude. That doesn't mean you don't focus on CS part. Just be confident that if you have prepared enough for gate, this will be an easier exam to crack.
No, you can only apply for one. Although if you are still confused then apply for MTech and then you can switch to MS later on but if you chose MS, you do not have the option to convert to MTech.
