I lived in VN between 2011 and 2013, a truly amazing time to be there with so much change going on and just the tonic I needed to get over my divorce, with the big cultural difference and amount of daily interactions with new people, compared to the West. Phuc map has inspired me to start learning tieng Viet again. I got ok back then, but not using it other than a few times in VN restaurants in Europe I have forgotten so much, writing tones, uncommon words etc. Dung roi, hoc tieng viet rat kho, nhung anh phai doc sach, xem phim ect 15 hoac 30 phuc moi ngay. I remember a VN saying nuoc chay, da mon (water runs stone carves) I think learning any language is about consistency, I guess. Thanks for the inspiration brother, hopefully my tieng viet is gone but not forgotten totally haha

I agree. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area as well. Born and raised. (Daly City) MikeThan187 is right. Come to San Jose off Story Rd. It is Little Saigon and you will get a million likes if you visit Grand Century Mall. I have been following you since October 2023 and I have traveled to Saigon and Phan Thiet twice. First time in November 2023 and 2nd time in February 2024. Your videos are on point and hella funny!

Yes, a bit since I first moved to Vietnam. You have to remember though, Saigon is probably the most expensive city in the whole country.
