We were just there in mid December also! We got a late start so missed the fog but it was a beautiful view of the river and town below. It took us 1.25 min to get to the top. Well worth the hike.

You are good. Making that hike good workout, I am baffled. What is that white stuff it looks like you are on top of the clouds

What state you guys from in USA? I just in vang vieng in June, but didn't get to the area you at now.
