See Eff hello! I’m now married to my high school sweetheart going to be our 10 year anniversary this year. We have 2 kids. And we both play Phantasy Star Online 2 on the Xbox One now.
@@dango2917 hallo! I’ve actually been streaming new Genesis on twitch now with this username. And one of their content creators. But I talk about this version of the game a lot in my streams.
This game and its music is an integral part of my childhood. Sure the game was somewhat flawed and repetitive but even then developers back then still knew how to make their games charming and capture the attention of gamers. One of my favorite games of all time. I'm a lot older now, but that's not stopping me from looking forward to Phantasy Star Online 2.
I've never played PSO though I grew up around the time it came out. This song channels the Y2K sensibility better than anything else I've heard. Top of its class. What a tremendous feat of creative expression!
I remember it all. The speech bubbles everywhere, the mellow yet intense fights and of course, being NOL'd :( Still, was an awesome game. if only I had a Windows 98 PC lying around - Then I could get back playing without brewing a huge phone bill :D
What could have been greater then this game....the memories and nostalgia are just to much.. I can't listen any longer...Love it...even though every one cheated on the dreamcast version...best time I ever had...
Has it really been over 10 years since the launch of the DC? Damn. I think most of you from my generation (those born late 70s, early 80s) will remember the DC as the last gaming console you purchased before fading off from gaming for good. Work, family and family has made this pastime almost impossible to pick back up. :(
It's nice when you are respected enough in the community to never have been NOLed. I still have all of my VMU's with all of my characters and weapons intact :D
Usually , retro music would bring back fond memories. But every time I hear PSO music, I just feel sad that I can't play it any more. I hope the DS version fills the void.
I...Love this game too much...Sniff....and miss it even more... God is music is soo awesome as a reminded of all the great people I made friends with, laughed with and cried with. Never again will I ever have this I know, but at least I was there!!!!
Friend, I feel your pain. Even tho i may be 17, I to will miss memories of my earlier days! This game was one of those memories. Its to bad there will never be another game like this...
i have always been mostly a pc gamer, started online with diablo 1 and starcraft, but even so, bubble chating in pso loby was a blast and there was also something futuristic about the dreamcast, or ,maybe is this nostalgia feeling kicking in.
I love the music, man ahhhhhhhhh I can hear everyone doing there emotes XD!!!!!!! game was so fun even though tons of hacks and cheats I still enjoyed this game for years man!
What I like best about PSO music is that it's consistently other-worldly. Pick any song from the soundtrack and it sounds like something the inhabitants of Pioneer 2 might listen to themselves. Nowadays game music is going the way of movie music, with lots of licensed crap that doesn't properly fit into the context of the game in question. Boo to that, I say!
I feel you. I love how heightened and ethereal it is. It's something I look for in music and why I keep returning to the Y2K era osts especially. It's not just for nostalgia. It's for a certain sonic texture. Those kinds of cinematic scores are serviceable, but they're missing the heights they could achieve, both in-game and especially upon listening outside of the game.
I also remember the first time I ever logged online..... I was talking to some random person in the lobby trying to learn how the game worked when she said "LOL". I had never heard that term before and it confused me......
Going back six years ago I played this, man, I wont be 17 no more :( Don't waste too much of your life playing video games, as you only have one. Get a girlfriend for yourself, nice car with a nice sound system to blare your choice of noise. Live it up!
Or you could continue you to playgames and enjoy life. Hell, you could even make some money out of it like I have in the past. Enjoy life how YOU want to.
This song brings back some good memories of overplaying this game into the ground, lol. "In puke face we trust!" If by some weird chance they remember Himura-san or Onslaught >>>> me lol. But because of this game, I moved onto games like FFXI and WoW.
Ah really yes wow thx for the info a quick Info:Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a 3D open-source Sonic the Hedgehog fangame built using a modified version of the Doom Legacy port of Doom. SRB2 is closely inspired by the original Sonic games from the Sega Genesis, and attempts to recreate the design in 3D. While SRB2 isn't fully completed, it already features tons of levels, enemies, speed, and quite a lot of the fun that the original Sonic games provided.
I didn't expect to see a comment about sonic robo blast 2 hub lol, that's also why I'm here. I really enjoyed just vibing in that map, it had such a nice atmosphere and the music was perfect. Interestingly the music that plays in its cafeteria (beautiful dead from danganronpa) is right next to this comment on my youtube recommended lol
@@bronsokip1714 hah yeah this music gives me very weird vibes, like you know how it feels weird to play a multiplayer game by yourself? i get the same feeling by listening to this while on an empty hub and it's kinda magical in its own creepy way
Still given 2005-2006 the Beta Version from Episode 4. to SCTHACK (King Arthur) and Wildone Long time played on PC PSO Trial Server before Sega have shut down the Server.
+Taco Crisma Nope, it's dead. Domain is expired and the admin is AWOL. If you want to play this game, just host a private server and invite your friends.
