Hey Kev nevermind on the needle pin setup I was asking you about I just took the needle pin out of my anvil 100 and bored out the yd 100 crank to fit it in but thanks bro

I simply put 2 small bushings inside each end of the piston so the 10mm wrist pin fits perfectly inside em and then dremmeled a couple of washers to fit snuggly inside each end of the piston to keep the wrist pin in and then threw in the original clips. I did this on my ms660 56mm same piston just bigger ofcourse

We did this ones we got the engine we know this was goin to break we fix before got bad .

I think all pistons should have this or a wider needle bearing to fill the gap so it can't slide halfway out of the conrod on either side.

Hey Kevin I have the 2nd gen phantom but I see it has the graphite infused sleeve are those the ones that keep blowing up?

I've had the phantom 85 V3 for about 4 months now and I haven't had one problem yet. I don't know if I'm just lucky or what but there are people who still have the version one and it's still running so who knows but I did do the break in process but with the 66cc engines I just drive them like I stole them. Those engines will take a beating that's for sure

we did the same we use a difrent material

not sure what you did there kevin . or why you would hollow out the wrist pin . unless your filling it with something else . ok motor working is not my thing and ill admit im a big ole dummy when it comes to it but i watch and learn in hopes to understand whats going on at least . but i will say i know you understand it and im sure if you say its golden its golden . take care ride safe brother .

I keep having problems with the piston clips coming out and going to the bottom end within a few weeks of riding i feel like its not enough room to het in both sides

Not being a machinist, l don't follow what you are doing. Cut in half, why? Shoulder, why? What is the problem with the wrist pin?
