Some things to note: Update: They fixed Emp Sliding after hearing our feedback, however Zingus sliding was nerfed. It's still in the game though and is still fast and effective, it's just not as insane as before. One thing I'd like to clarify because I didn't explain this as well as I wanted to: The thing about speed hackers is that no matter what type of hacks someone is using, them being there already ruins the game. It doesn't matter if it's just aimhacks, or aimhacks with speedhacks, esp or no esp, they have such an unfair advantage that just changing ONE of those without touching the others won't do anything to solve the issue, they're going to annihilate the server anyway until they're kicked. Now I support them reducing the cheaters' arsenals, HOWEVER, if they can't do that without hurting important game mechanics like Emp and Zingus slides that give the game it's charm and feel (especially with Zingus slides, they're one of my favorite parts of the BS you can pull with movement), then they just shouldn't do it at all because it's a net negative for the game as it's still doing almost nothing. Like great, the all headshot aimlock hackers can't fly anymore, they can still laser anything they see and you're dead instantly just like before. And to add insult to injury, now you can't Emp or Zingus slide but you still get to see hackers every third game. Like tell me with a straight face that you're going to have a realistic chance of beating hackers if they change, this, because you can't, literally the only effective tool to get rid of hackers will STILL be votekick. The best solution would be to implement speed checks based on how LONG you are at that speed, not whether you are at a speed. I didn't explain it the best in the video, but pretty much an example would be to have it so that if you are over 30 studs per second for 3-5 seconds, then you are sent back to the menu. This would prevent things like emp sliding triggering it, because it doesn't last nearly that long, whereas it can still catch hackers. And the faster the speed, that time can be lowered (for example, over 100 studs per second could have a .5 second window, so that if you glitch it won't despawn you but if you are actually hacking you can't fly for more than half a second without getting noticed). Zingus Sliding is basically useless now, it no longer works. If you are going to make your opinion heard, don't just say "don't remove emp slides", campaign for a better solution too, such as adding better checks like the ones I mentioned at the end of the video. Also be respectful towards the devs. I did exaggerate the effect of the nerf a BIT in the video, Emp Sliding is still faster than regular slide canceling but it still feels really bad now due to the speed limit that is now WAY lower.

They tried fixing pixel walks but it still works. Just that it resets you sometimes.

Lol I'm like 90 percent done with a video about it right now. I checked yesterday and WOW it is bad. Not only does the game feel sluggish as hell but it resets your PF sensitivity if you had it on anything but the default, and even though it shows that it's on what you want, you have to change it to something else then change it back to what you want again to make it work correctly. I can't even believe they messed up this bad with it.

never did either of those movement techniques, still got better pub results than 99.5% percent of this playerbase. Not some flex post, just saying it's really not required to do well. Infact, most of the 200 kill games are either before this was even discovered, or are mirage tag run games, it doesn't have alot of bearing on how good people could do. (Emp sliding actually ruined the flow of competetive so much it's been removed there for multiple months now, the best players would be used to not doing it already) Any cheat that would no longer be in a cheaters arsenal is objectively better than it still being in, so i have absolutely no clue what your on about there. Cheating will never be solved, like ever. Roblox will always make accounts free to make, and stylis would definitely not make it paid access just to stop cheaters, would be like suicide. So it's just an arms race between many cheat developers who only need to find one loophole, and a team that has to basically play whack a mole in the amazon rainforest judging from the state of their code. Also movement stuff HAS been removed in the past, like hyperjumping Basically i don't mind if it's removed or not, and the good players are already at a level in which if it was the case in which it got removed, they'd be fine.

Great comment, you actually put some thought into this, I was expecting most of them to be "remove it because tryhards bad" lol. Same though, I actually didn't start incorporating emp sliding consistently in my gameplay until recently (in most of my gameplay and in a lot of my clips until just recently, for the most part I stuck to regular slide canceling and standing slides) and I'd put myself decently high on the skill spectrum, however, it still allows you to be even better through your own mechanical skill. And I do agree that the movement system is still amazing and has a really high skill ceiling without it, it wouldn't be unplayable, just worse. To me, things like emp slides and zingus slides give the game greater depth and a higher skill ceiling, along with making it even faster and smoother. I disagree with what you wrote about the cheater arsenal part. I see what you mean, but like even you said, cheating will never end so putting bandaid fixes that come at the expense of actual game mechanics. I'm all for cracking down on cheating, but not if it comes at the expense of game mechanics. Also I do understand that emp sliding is bad in comp, but it's already disabled there, and pubs are a lawless wasteland anyway. Also, something else to add is that I'm fine with movement mechanics being removed if the devs actually consider them unfair, but judging by their past attitudes towards most movement tech like superjumps it seems they don't mind it in pubs as far as I know, and the only issue is that it interferes with the cheat detection. It kinda just bugs me that it's being removed for something preventable rather than them actually having a problem with it in pubs.
