For Tenors, Altos and Mezzos: If you want to sing this song but cannot sing the E6 note, I recommend that you sing with Whistle's voice. It won't have the same power that a soprano would, but it's still good.

Oh my. I'm going to have to warm up for an hour to sing Christine's part. T'is murder for an alto. My high school choir was obsessed with Phantom for a while. This is the only Broadway show I ever saw on stage, and it was incredible. :D

I've always been taking this song an octave lower, but then the female voice is far more suited to my vocal range than the male one is - while I'm about as far away from being a professional musician as I can be, I enjoy this. Thank you a lot!

I used to be able to hit all of these notes 20 years ago. Now, I guess I'm taking it down an octave because I'm no longer a first soprano, I'm mezzo! I'm annoyed because RU-vid won't let me save this to my karaoke playlist, and I'm not sure why. I'm fairly certain I had it on my playlist on my old YT account! (You are my favorite duet partner, as my husband doesn't sing.)
