Have you ever tried out a company called Digital Design they make top of the line stereo sound system subwoofers and amplifiers they make it all and they are made in the 405 Oklahoma if I'm not mistaken I think they still have the world record at a 182 DB's with only 1 subwoofer...Think of this way the money will still stay in Oklahoma and the kickers are made in Texas so it's Texas vs Oklahoma...lol.....👍up on the video's as always.

Once you put the electric fans on you will go from 13-14mpg average to about 15-16mpg average. I heard you say a have a 2 hour drive so those numbers will probably be a lil higher. With that cold air intake you may be doing better than me also. Super easy/ cheap swap I pulled the harness and fans out of a 2007 classic.

I'm a mechanic for a equipment rental store and we tested seafoam on two identical pieces of equipment and the seafoam one after a year was like brand new inside where the other one had sludge.... now I use seafoam on anything I have from chainsaws to my vehicles

I live in Western New York so over the Spring/Summer I had to do Bodywork/Paint on her.....She ain't perfect but gets alot of Looks especially when I RIP on her. It's got the Better TrlBlzsr SS Manifold, 90mm Throttle body, Truck Cam, Longtube Stainless headers, & Magnaflow Exhaust. Goodluck with yours man....she's a looker. I enjoy your Channel, you guys have good raw content man.

The GMT800 is my second favorite era of GM trucks.(67-72 is on a pedestal all their own). I have a beater 99 4wd ecsb Silveraydo(not misspelled, if you don't know, look it up) and a very clean 03 GMC ecsb with all the fixings except forced induction(yet). I can't wait for the vids of this and Shop Truck. I've read your entire build thread on Performancetrucks.net

I have an 04 bought brand new. Has 420,000 miles. 03 and 04 good years for Chevy trucks. I have an 03 also my work crew drives it. Same color as yours. Not an SS obviously. But 03-04 are really good years for Chevy motors in trucks.

I always thought a factory 5.3L powered 2009 Colorado/ Canyon 4wd would make for a sick street sleeper with some boost. Also want to create a "Gen 2 Typhoon" from a 4wd ZR2 Blazer (2 door)

Very nice looking rig! Check out the Berryman products that are similar to Sea Foam. Not knocking Sea Foam, it’s good product, I just think the offerings from Berryman are a little better.

I had the same truck in black (wanted Arrival Blue, but couldn't find one). I put a Corsa exhaust on it and it sounded great with no drone. If it were my truck - first thing I'd do is put some OEM SS wheels on it. Something about that blue with the silver wheels looks great IMO. Not a fan of the chrome wheels.

Would a cam make any major difference in towing I know you said your doing it for a video but wasn’t sure if it would help with towing

Sweet rig ! I just picked a 07 duramax up lifted with some goodies I’ve always loved the cat eye Silverado’s if I didn’t go with a diesel I would of got a ss would of matched my Zl1 camaro pretty well

Got a Silverado with a 5.3. The bolts backed off that hold on the oil pump to the block causing the oil psi to drop down to 5psi @idle op temp. Almost lost the motor. I know you said your changing it. But wanted to warn you.

Nice SS I picked up an 06 Black 2wd last year for a tow rig and I love the Truck overall. Look Forward to the cam video since I think when towing it needs more mid range power

Had a push rod 5.0 car running on 7, shop couldn't figure out so took it home and seafoamed and problem solved!

I like sea foam however I am a fan of Lucas I was President of a trucking co. We added a gallon of Lucas at every oil change. I name several times it may hav saved an engine. I also saw an increase in fuel mileage. Keep on keepin on.

I Seafoam the oil, gas and intake. I get a kick out of seeing the white smoke from the tailpipe. I also dump the diff and trans fluid.

You need to fix the stereo humming thats coming out the speakers when your driving. Shits annoying

Sea foam defently works. There is a guy that does all kinds of test on running different stuff in lawn mower engines and stuff. After using sea foam it cleaned the engine out got out all the sludge. It got quitter and was a tad bedder on gas.

I hope you would put some new lifters in with the cam swap why would you use old lifters on a new cam thats like putting a oil pan gasket on but not putting an oil pump in while you are in there

My new daily! Not gonna do nothing! Well I’m gonna clean the crankcase with seafoam and 4l80 swap it. Well maybe swap the cam. Maybe a new exhaust, and a muffler. Oh and some nitrous. 🤣

In 6 months it will have a rollcage. The motor will be twin turbos.
