Finally someone mention that Tretinoin is not a over the counter drug.In You tube I have seen many youtubers just suggest their viewers to use Tretinoin. It is really good to see that You've clearly mention that it has side effect and should be use with Dermatologist Consultation.
Instead of emolene you can go for aloe vera gel from earthrythm...I usually put in fridge and apply it cold on face it gives instant relief after waxing or after sun redness

Hi. Dermatologist here. Tretinoin is a schedule H drug in India and should only be used under doctor's prescription. It do wonders for skin but it comes with a lot of irritation. Tretinoin in the short term is best, but if you're looking for long term anti aging without any irritation, retinol is the way to go. Retinol is gentle on skin as compared to tretinoin, but has same effects in the long run (2 years+). The best part, it is available over the counter. Ask your derma for retinol suggestions according to your skin type.
@@rakhi_roy I can't answer or recommend tretinoin without examining your situation as it is a schedule H drug. But if you want over the counter solution, Salicylic Acid can do wonders. If it's hormonal, then reduce sugar and dairy intake. Besides that incorporate Exercise in your lifestyle. If it is a serious situation, kindly visit a dermatologist for detailed solution. @@Fme2 Niamex-D is a good option if you want a pharmacy based niacinamide gel. I often recommend it to my patients. Some people's skin may become dark for a temporary period, but it goes on its own. Tretinoin is bomb product.... Have been using it since 2021... It works late but works wonder.... I'm in my late 20's so I must say ... Go for it girls... but first CONSULT A DERMAT before using it. It removes fine lines ...it worked on my pigmentation and textured skin ... it's a holy grail product.❤

I have been using Tretinoin since 2020. I have to say it changed my skin very very much. It literally reduced my acne and also my smile lines(made me concerned as I was at a bad place at that time). Anyways I am extremely thankful to my derm for prescribing me this😊😊
@@shitalawatade6039 start by using 2-3 times in a week, if sensitive and acne prone I would recommend it as a spot treatment over moisturizer. After got used to it for a while then take pea size tret mix it with moisturizer and apply to face after using serums or lite base moisturizer. After getting used to it and your skin can handle it then use without base moisturizer or you can use a sandwich method where you apply moisturizer first then pea size tret and moisturizer again. I would personally recommend using peptide serums as a base and ceramide moisturizers on top or for sandwich . I would highly recommend you to avoid fragrance and other actives in skincare just in case of any other bad reaction as the tret itself is extremely powerful enough to wreck your skin. And I would recommend using calming products during night and also in the morning and sunscreen is a must. Another note start using 2-3 times a week I would recommend this for 3-4 months or until your skin tolerate it. Later increase it for 4-5 times and later regularly. After using regularly for 6 months or so I personally mix it with my moisturizer and use it as a eye cream. Later sandwich around the eye area and normally. This may dry out the eye area so use some moisturising serums or creams around the eyes as well.

Since it has so many actives, what should be used with it? Also do you alternate these products with the Korean skincare products?
Be careful with Tretin on the neck as it causes dryness and irritation. Tretin is not recommended to be used there even at 0.025% as the skin is thinner. Try retinol or another milder formula.
Product are good choice but show us how and when to apply or the correct order to apply please make video of it am done using all products my face. Very oily +sensitive skin
@@SUPRIYAYADAV-r8m yes, I had cystic acne all over my face and body. Now I do not have any issues. If you think of using tretinoin so avoid other acids like abh, bha, just use normal hydrating serum, toner and moisture and no acne facewash, only gentle facewash without exfoliating ingredients. Also tretinoin can purge for 3-4 weeks, based on skin type. If it last long then 4 or 3 weeks, you might be using too much or use everyday. Avoid everyday and you only need pee size. Don't forget your sunscreen
Hi currently I'm using azelaic acid 10% gel but feel like itching what should I do now also using it from past 9 days but didn't see any changes on my acne marks also on active acne
You also need to keep moisturising. Skip on other acids, skip BP etc. And reapplying sunscreen. Apart from that, you must use a very little amount of glycolic acid on brown skin. Less is more.
Pea size amount is recommended because there is only enough your face can take from a product and that is the pea size amount. Rest of the product if you apply is getting wasted. So you can apply little bit more also, no need to fear. Just that you will be wasting product. But don't be scared won't harm your skin. Also you can use tretenoin on your eye area. Just that do the sandwich method, but also dilute the tretenoin cream with some moisturizer. Best moisturiser for me is barrier relief formula x. Bestest. Tretenoin user since I was 21, a friend recommended for acne. Just that i stopped using it after sometime when my acne healed. Biggest mistake lol. But you don't do that. Restarted it again and my acne is healed and i know within 3 months my skin would be better.

Using tretenoin 0.025 since 2022 and it made my skin do smooth and texture free and also plump and babylike.... You need patience and skill with this product

HI DIDI, I HAVE AN URGENT REQUEST, could you please tell me a solution to this problem of dry skin. i never had this problem before but this year after I went to Dehradun, this problem began. i started having very dry skin, basically near my mouth area. after a week or so it also spread to my face, with my eyelids, cheek, jawline area becoming dry and flaky. i did go to the dermat because of this and he suggested me CIPLA EXCELA MOSTURISER. and it worked wonders for err..... 6 months, and after this now im experiencing this once again. as i infered from your videos you too have dry skin so could you possibly have a moisturizer or something for this. it gets really dry and flaky near my nose and mouth area especially. hoping for your response.

Bdw i have a query to ask , long time back i sprayed a perfume near the neck & chest area and i got so many acne & bumps all over , though after couple of days everything was back to normal .however, i only face redness and itchiness in that area, which comes and goes . Well i use treatment products for pharmacy and another problems like sunscreen cleanser and moisturizer from skincare companys. I do use chemical exfoliating moisturizer or exfoliating products from skincare companys too. I lovey tretinoin cream 0.05% ( i just move to 0.025% to 0.05% )and adalane gel 0.1% on the alternative days with tretinoin cream. I am thinking about to try a benzoyl peroxide wash or moisturizer for my armpit and a azelice cream for my chick redness.
Please don't spread misinformation..tretin 0.025 is not a skin care cream..its actually a keratolytic..the retinol composition in skin serum for anti ageing is different. The long term unprotected use can cause skin irritation only.. please consult dermatologist before using.. please please avoid advertising pharmacy products which needs consultation..
I'm 20 i have lots of comendonal acnes on my face can i start using 0.01% of retinol cream cuz i did everything for this but nothing happened. So i decided to start using retinol.
I have dry to normal skin but i still get acne after using emolene for 4-4 days , what to do now?? Should i wait for few days or stop using this immediately please help 🙁
