I was literally blown away by her reaction & watch it over n over again only for one damn good thing: It makes me Happy, clap your hands if you feel it!
Ok well I have to but help me out here. Do you recall a video he did almost as a cameo appearance only? Back in the 90's, I believe the video was hip hop themed and had lowrider cars in the video. I don't think he sang in it, which makes me think he had a part in producing the song.
Love him. Great humanitarian, entertainer, father and husband. His energy's presence is honest and refreshing. The best of wellness, health and safety to him and family.
It's too bad that there aren't more artists who do things like this, they forget where they came from. But Pharrell is one that shows he is a human being and still cares for others and didn't forget where he came from.
I like that he does things like this for fans. He took the time out of his life to make her week. He didnt have to do a damn thing. Some of you will say oh its mastercard he was paid. Sure, maybe he was. Its not like he had to do it, hes rich as fuck.
AWESOME! An artist making a difference in a way that doesn't directly effect the thickness of his wallet. Yes, he's doing that too but look at those kids, and the woman he surprised, BRAVO! Quit hating on business and like the basic fact that this song celebrates happiness, and Pharrell is its ambassador for the moment. A very likable title; Ambassador of Happiness - Pharrell Williams.
Is it priceless? Maybe 1,000 people couldn't pay their debt to MasterCard so MasterCard took their car, their house, their liberty... And MasterCard got the money to pay this kind of ad and put it in premium tv air time. Maybe.
Gabo Palacios Actually it could be swipe fees that are built into the price of products people responsibly buy and pay for. The business has agreed to these fees to allow people to pay with plastic. Every transaction has one.
Maybe these people I'm talking about got their credit card when they still got a job. Maybe these people are using their credit cards to buy food -I've seen it -. Who knows. Debt is the american way of living.
Truly dope and inspiring...moments like this should get more shine in the media than all the negativity and celeb bs they constantly feed us on a daily basis
I just recently ' found ' this song. It's just tremendous, especially the extra drums and bass versions. I love what Pharrel does for Queen, and her reaction. Priceless. What bothers me, though, is that almost all the parents sitting aren't into it. They should be, as they were all told in advance what would happen They aren't all hugely clapping, applauding, standing up, dancing, having fun. Just smiling. Shame on them.
It is possible that those parents fully understood that this was an accolade to Queen and they didn't want to intrude and spoil her day of being honoured by one of her heroes.
Scuse the pun but this is priceless pharell well done 4 making ur fans day and the kids they loved it! I LOVE happy just seen u on the brits awards EPIC!!!
Hehe. There's always people who feel like the artist owes them or something just because they were listenening to them before most people who heard there huge hit. I really don't think he cares for fans such as these who would crap on an awsome song and equally heart toughing and awsome moments created by such song. He'd probably walk right by you fans to get to actual fans who don't care about how cool they think they are.
this is a sample of social responsibility too!! return to the society a bit of who you are and say I do care: motivate and engage So when Pharrel Williams visit my taco stand in the corner I am going to die!!!
Pharrell had me as a fan since his beginnings but I like this new style he is showing a more humble side if him writing songs that some artists would never take the risk and try to show true emotions which is all we need out there to be happy
Coach P is a generous soul, drops everything to do this for people, just, out of the blue the way he does. He's very selfless and grounded, most artists are not this keen on their fans like this! Gentle spirit, his caring for people is UNREAL.
This here is so amazing for I see my first cousin Queen being honoured for the selfless work that she is doing with these kids...and all I can say is "Congratulations Queen" and "Thank You Pharrell "....
He is entering dangerous territory. This 'Happy' is a great song and it is making pharrell a bigger star, gaining new fans and people are starting to look at him as a roll model. I saw this same thing happen to kanye west, and beyonce. When these black artist who have been known to blacks forever become big and part of pop culture they become roll models but as soon as they go back to the music that brought them there they will receive backlash from the new fans who wanted them to be the shining beacon of all things positive and roll model like. Pharrell creates and produces all sorts of songs. Songs that have themes such as: SEX, DRUGS, MATERIALISM AND SOME THAT MIGHT APPEAR SEXIST TOO. when these so called new fans find out.. its a wrap.. I just hope people remember that music is art and is just a way of expressing oneself or telling a story. Freedom of expression. No one does it better than pharell. I have been a fan of his from the clips/neptune days and before that the rump shaker days in the early 90's.. feminist would call that stuff sexist.... Most of these new fans never heard of any of the other stuff... in my opinion the better stuff. I Hope these new middle Americans understand when they find out.
Me to growing up in VA truly an inspiration but like i try to tell people he's just Americas favorite black person of 2014 theyll soon realize and this time next year hell be forgotten by his "Happy" fans. but the real fan will continue to support. great artist and person
BOSReesoMoney I did not know he was from VA..I always called him my future son-in-law..had hope my daughter could meet him lololol (oh well) I have loved him since the beginning he is a fresh wonderful breath of fresh air...I so hope that more young black men will see this young man as an inspiration rather than is street mess! I am from Chicago..Kanye is talented but not anything special he is really an ass..and JayZ..just got lucky..there are thousands of young brothers in jail with a good business plan and rap skillz..This guy is true talent..and he has climbed the correct way and is humble..
Delta Moon humble?? haha pharrell is just older now..and you're a brand new spanking fan.. you know nothing of his cocain songs lol..but yea.. to each his own.
lolol not new I know of the days gone by his weird associations he has been behind the scene for awhile ..I still like the way he carries himself as a black male u gotta admit he has got a lot of class..
Delta Moon eh.. i guess. I like his music i dont know him personally and i dont know about no class. he could never disappoint me.. unless he stops making music. you are the very example of why i say he is entering dangerous territory...you already put him up "this high"... lol. to each his own.
Other artists come and hug or they could prank call them and say how they're doing and surprise them by coming through the door, but he came through the door dancing and pretending it was normal. I really liked your way and what should I say more than that you're pretty awesome Pharrell
