Thank you girls so much! Just yesterday I watched you on Judy’s site. 🙏 I’m looking into carnivore. Today is my fifth day. I have CIRS & LYME along with coinfections, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, recently had surgery for hyperparathyroidism, major surgery for skin cancer on my nose that had to have a tech structure flap (I know now was due to the mold & Lyme), and I could go on 😢 I had MARCONS too. I’m not sure where I am with that; but I did 6months (3x a day of the colloidal spray mix). I hope I’m not bugging people with all my comments. I’ve just been so close to death several times in the last 7yrs and lost all friends and now some of my closest family. Just last week a son-in-law blew up on me (2nd time) because of my limitations. I’ve been at rock bottom thinking horrible thoughts. Anyway, I’m picking myself back up once again and researching! Hope! W/o hope we perish! 🙏

I have not gotten my blood work done yet. i'm waiting for my ND to put that together. I am absolutely certain I have CIRS, and I've had it for 25 years. I wish I had not ignored it, but after recently moving into a house with toxic black mold everything flared up for me. Having a hard time finding a rental now a days. I need to move ASAP, but can't find anything that is not sky high. I'll move anywhere to get into a non toxic house.

Yes to getting mini then going to doctor. I started with full at NwJ as well. Went to LabCorp. My practitioner wanted a few more labs and he prefers Quest running some of the same labs I did (doesn't think LabCorp is good on a couple numbers). So far insurance has covered those later tests. He also had me do a hormone saliva test. He also ordered a NeuroQuant MRI.

:/ My functional med Dr had me do a Neuroquant mri; but said nothing about it afterwards. Later I asked her why she didn’t read it. I’m thinking she may not have been able to understand it. Then later a Neurologist said she wanted to look at it after I mentioned it to her; but never said anything about it either. She didn’t give it back to me. I had to request from the office a couple times before they found it and gave it back.

Can you please tell me what specific bloodwork I should ask my doctor for to see if I have CIRS. I took the vcs test and I came back positive with the clusters as well as the visual so I’m pretty sure I have it because I’ve been dealing with stomach issues for many years and I’m on a carnivore diet.

Oh my gosh! I had vertigo so bad I was in bed for five weeks! When I stood up from the bed I spun and fell. Another time I awoke from sleep while sitting straight up yelling “Help meeee, the ned is spinning and shaking”!!! 😢

And some locations dont have the additives to add gmto the tgfb1 c4 and c3 a so thats terrible and other labs wont send it off to tge correct place to have it proscessed correctly. We as patients need to call and write these labs and request better coverage for what we pay for.

Agreed... your doctor should be able to help you with this as well - some patients need to go to multiple labs to get all the necessary tests. I wish it wasn't so difficult!

Question on the blood work: I see these labs are very expensive out of pocket for the testing. I’ve been through so many things that I think could help me, just to turn out that they were a waste of money. It’s a big leap of faith for me to do the whole “just this one more thing” routine when it’s $1000+. If I knew it would work, then yeah obviously worth the money. But I can’t just be throwing around a thousand dollars on something I don’t even know will cure me. Very frustrating situation. Any tips? If you pay the 1000 once, does that cover follow up labs? How does that work?

You can try to get them through your PCP, you may be able to bill insurance! Ongoing bloodwork will be indicated by your provider.

Anybody know if I can get a CIRS provider out of state? There just isn't one in Alaska based of the surviving mold website. Not sure if I can work around this and find someone remotely and using zoom???

For many CIRS patients, it tanks both your T and DHEA. Some doctors do telehealth - I suggest going to survivingmold.com and finding a practitioner willing to see you via telehealth, depending on where you live and where they're licensed to practice.
