This video gives a quick summary of our two flagship motor controller models, the Phaserunner and the Baserunner, and how they differ from common generic ebike motor controllers. www.ebikes.ca/... www.ebikes.ca/...
I've got a phaserunner on 2017 and it works grate since then! With 72V and 30 Amps. This controller give you the possibility to configure a lot of usefull settings. It's really small, versatile and powerful.
I have an Ariel Rider Grizzly equipped with a 30 amp controller and 52V batteries, featuring dual motors (750W front and 1000W rear). Would this phase runner be a good upgrade?
Nice explanation on this one! Just out of interest do you have a presence in the UK in the form of an authorised distributor or reseller of your products? Motors/Controllers? Thanks, Thumbs up.
I have a s4 e bike I am not happy with the controller with the phaserunner control can you set your pas levels to the speeds you want? So if i want to go 3 or 9mph in pas 1 I can do so?
That's not a feature of the phaserunner but the cycle analyst. Replacing a controller on a factory ebike is a non trivial job requiring swapping a lot of other components too, its not at all plug and play
Hello, i have a question. Why the only screen available with theses types of controllers is the cycle analyst ? Why can't we use like sw900, kt or ukc screens which are more stylish and more consumer oriented that the cycle analyst ? Is it possible to just "code" one controller to be able to fit with thoses screens ?
See the V4 Baserunner and Frankenrunner manuals and read the sections on 3rd party displays (ebikes.ca/product-info/grin-products/frankenrunner.html) We intend to support at least displays using the KM5s protocol, but they are much more limited in what you can do and the controller setup is a lot more convoluted for configuring for PAS and Torque sensors in a generalized sense.
Hi Justin Fabulous content as always. I have a 1000watt DD generic rear hub motor, very reliable, with a 52v 28ah triangle pack using LG MJ1 cells, Sinewave 48v 45amp controller, twist throttle, and re-gen braking. Which of your controllers would you advise please Justin. And would it be compatible with My KT-LCD8H Display. Many many thanks for your time Daron
Hey Daron, unfortunately we don't have anything that will be compatible with your KT display, but for powerful system like this I'd certainly recommend the Phaserunner_MT as it has the higher peak and sustained phase amps out of the options here.
What is the best Controller for the Bafang Ultra G510 mid drive motor ? I want to keep the same display and install it to look and double my Controller to 60 + Amps. is there a kit this motor. ?
The best for a factory ebike with an integrated bafang mid-drive is just to keep the stock controller that it comes with, which will have parameters well suited to the motor and battery on your bike and will of course work with your display. This controller is meant more for scratch built DIY ebikes.
anyone ever upgrade the heatsink on one of Theas controllers i saw a vid of one where it lowers the current on it becuse it gets too hot was wondering if i added a heatsink +fan to it would that allow longer run times at full power
Yes for sure, we and others have published a fair bit of data on that, see: endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65031&p=1478783#p1447901 endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=82196 www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=91078
