Hi Ashutosh, Thank you for sharing all the info. As you've mentioned in the video - "don't send emails if you're confident that you'll get in the program". Based on my research so far, some suggest not to send email as it may backfire while other suggest to reach out to profs. Super perplexed about this. Well, if you can justify why this delay in completion happened.. And if it's genuine, then I think it's okay.. Else, this will raise some eyes on your capabilities thats what I believe...
Thats is just fine. You can alwasy submit that later. Once u get the admit then you get a 6 month window to submit the rest of the documents in the university.

I will try that.. More or less process is same. Its not mandatory to reach out a professor, if ur profile is good u can dirwctly fill the application form and wait for the approval. In terms of exam mainly GRE (check univ/ dept requirement) and one english proficiency test(toefl/ielts)

Well i used to wait for around 1 or 2 week for reply and then i used to send a followup email. And even after that if i dont get the reply back i used to drop that.

Just talk to your advisor. Get in touch with the department administration, they can explain you the whole process. Its very common to convert ur masters into phd.
So, for that i would suggest look for a professor who is taking phd students in his/her lab. Get in touch with them. If your masters advisor is ready to take u as PhD then even better. Rest of the process varies from university to university, so get in touch with the college administration.
Fall 2025 means the session will start in August generally. But you have to start the process a little early because the application deadlines are in Dec of the year prior.
Well its for USA and Canada generally. Fpr europe and australias.. I dont think there is any timeline. Its more like whenever a position is open u can join. Again its based on my experience
