I too came to discover that I very likely have ADHD during grad school, doing my master’s. I wonder if this is a general pattern with many neurodivergent grad students making this kind of discovery about themselves. The situation is ripe for it too as you say, and i have encountered other instances of it too, especially those of us who’s studies coincided with the pandemic.
I honestly think so! Since I’ve been diagnosed I’ve heard so many stories of people who also made this discovery. I think there’s something about the process that reveals to many student how their brain works differently.
