I've hunted pheasant for over 20 years.. this was a farm raised bird. A wild pheasant would never let you get this close, making that much noise. And when you don't kill it with the shot.. you're supposed to break its neck to end its suffering. This is not the behavior of a true sportsman.
Absolutely true. With the amount of noise these two were making, they would have spooked a wild pheasant. Clearly they are not true hunters. Hunters would have more respect for these animals instead of making it suffer
Play it back on 0.25 speed start at 1:13, the pheasant was tied down. The branches behind the bird are even moving as the bird tries to pull free. You can see it's leg being pulled back, stretched behind him.
This isn't the way to hunt. You want to cleanly dispatch the animal what you did was just made it suffer. Folding its wings back while he's still alive crying the whole way this is actually pretty disgusting. I'm all for hunting but this it's just plain cruel.
@@patman0250 Ha. You live in a tiny world, don't you? In... certain places... it's believed that the animal's suffering makes the meat taste better. Yeah I don't know how that's supposed to work but then they also think endangered animals horns and penises and rectums makes good aphrodisiacs. Don't be stupid.
@@1acroyear1 I take it you didn't actually read my comment, you do know how to read right? I'll tell you what, take some lessons make sure you get your ABCs down, and then come back to me take a minute.
@@patman0250 Yeah I don't think I'm the one who has a problem with reading comprehension. But hey, if the only way you can feel intelligent is to call other people stupid then I'll let you have your little feefees self-validated. "Winning" an internet argument clearly means a lot to you.
Yeah it’s a bit weird to me that he isn’t, a lot of us who hunt with them only advocate for head shots for that reason. The only time that is irrelevant to me is with mice and rats, and that’s because they can be quick and the mice are rather small as is
Should have dispatched it cleanly as soon as you got to it. Walking around with it injured shows your lack of compassion for the animal, be more respectful. Gamekeeper UK
The pheasant is the most beautiful and noble of game birds and deserves far more respect than what was shown to it in this video, i have hunted many in my time ,but this was a cruel end for a beautiful bird, not immediately dispatching game is both cruel and objectionable...."what a dickhead".
Lol you are lucky every time a pheasant sees me it either runs or flys away lol,It must taste good in a roast with herbs n spices n vegetables, That's how I'd cook mine.
Come on man! I thought u ran over to break its neck, not bend its wings back, and carry it crying back to wherever. It's called hunting not Injuring with torture! Neet toy but stick to fishing with that thing.
This is just unnecessary cruelty for the animal. Voting its wings back while it's still alive crying the whole way. This is borderline psychopath hunting.
@@FarmerFpv you literally just displayed your own psychological illness in your own comment. So I think the one that really shouldn't be talking is you. There's a right way and a wrong way to take an animal down and that's pretty much universal for all hunting. Maybe you should go see a therapist take care of those mommy issues you have, poor daddy issues.
por favor amigo algo de respeto por los animalitos, dale una muerte rapida, es mal karma ...y deforma el espiritu. ¿y como lo cocinas ese faisan?. saludos
Poor creature. They breed pheasants for sport where I live but at least they die instantly, this is cruelty and you should put them out of their misery as soon as possible, PLEASE.
I made the original comment a couple of weeks ago but i see it has caused a bit of grief for the wild craftsman and that was never my intention, it was from one hunter to another. I am well qualified to make the comment as i am a professional myself. Please move on from my comment and continue to enjoy his videos as he was very gracious about my remarks and took the advice onboard. Thanks.
I feel kind of sad watching this bird in pain, when I put end to a animal I do quick and trying to cause the minimal agony, but it's just my personal opinion.
If that guy is a hunter I’m an astronaut. He eventually hits the bird injuring it and then proceeds to grab it a casually wander off with the creature screaming in pain. He should have wrung it’s neck straight away. Cruel.
Taste better than chicken. It's very white in color. Makes great stir fry or over Alfredo sauce with pasta. It's my favorite game bird next to Mountain Quals.
Pheasant has the most flavorful taste of any bird period. The closest thing is a Cornish hen but pheasant is a little sweeter. The meat melts in your mouth. Put it on your bucket list.
Well this bird's getting a list of extinction in the world,. In my country this bird's we protect them,. We not allow to hunt this kind of bird! This guy's need a lot practicing shooting and reading book for hunting before became a real hunter 🥴😅
