@@gradipolo Reason why most of the iitians go for MBA is that when they enter iit, they don't really know their fields of interest but in those 4 years, they explore a lot and go for what they are passionate about.
My manager is from MIT he treats me equal as other ivy league or better school students and we get same challenging tasks. so IIT/MIT in the end doesn't matter
zephyr, please say "one of the most intelligent guys..." (plural)," *not* "...guy..." (singular.) that's because there's usually more than one intelligent guy. furthermore, please say: one apple, an apple, the apple, one of the reddest apples (there's more than one red apple), the reddest apple (singular - there's usually only one.) ja?
No matter what you achievement you have.. work hard you definitely successful...... If you in your 17 to 19 age line then pls don't waste your time now only time for work hard .....
Raghu Mahajan 2006 AIR 1 also quit IIT Delhi CS students after 2 years at IITD and went to MIT and did Major in PHYSICS and MATHS. Now he is in Princeton
Damn I know Chitrang Murdia. He and I were in Allen 2014 batch. Seeing him grow this much makes me wonder what am I doing with my life lol. Anyways I am also going for Masters next year
You have only one shot at redemption: Civil Services Exam. Do that. Earn millions. Move to USA. Spend a million and get the citizenship. God Bless America, I guess.
Getting into a good institute kicks off your journey towards your destination in full swing. You come across multiple opportunities and you can use your potential to a very great extent. This is why students aim to get into a respected institution.
@@gayathrimanoj6017 Institutions are not necessarily good or bad. Students are good or bad learners. Yes some institutions offer more opportunities but if you are a good learner and can apply skills to solve problems, it doesnt really matter which institution you went to. Getting into a top institution only helps in very early years but after having 4-5 years of experience, all are equal.
@@nofavors You can apply skills to solve problems . But you need good opportunities to show your capabilities. You need good exposure. Of course without getting into a good institute you can get into a very good position in your career. But it would involve much more work. Plus the benefits of getting into a prestigious institute are endless. Also , if you are from an institute such as an IIT , it indicates your discipline and work ethics as it is very difficult to get into such an institution and only with a great amount of perseverance and discipline can you succeed. Again , I'm not saying the rest who do not belong to such institutions are less hardworking.
@@PiyushBhakat yes....he was my senior in school and even school didn't knew that he had won gold in ioi later I and codechef team told my teachers about his achievement and then finally he was honoured in our school....whereas people with medals in any international Olympiad ends up getting admission in worlds top universities...as malvika joshi an homeschool girl is also studying In MIT
So many iitians and aspirants here ,all focused on going to usa and growing their. It's a failure of Indian society that we are still not giving them enough opportunities to become entrepreneurs here in india. Would love to see a global tech company emerge from India.
@@vishkiller23 in a free society you can't order middle class people not to do well for themselves. What can be done is that the government not subsidize middle class students in iits. Let them pay full tuition.
the problem is *our mindset* . We study from school, college, IITs to become a servent/worker.... not a Boss. The education system makes us good Google employees bt it doesn't encourage us to make our own Google. In India, we have millions of employees bt only thousands of jobs...
I appreciate his success & hat's off to him for AIR 1 But I think that after studying hard it's our job to apply our knowledge to make a new thing that will change people's lives , what you think ?
Chitarang was so interested in Physics he changed his branch to Engineering Physics in IIT Bombay..........coz theoretical Physics is not that Good in IITs he transfered to mit. Same is the case with Satvat jagwani....
@@rabindrakapal1681 It's Good , Ig One could do UG there or integrated Bsc- MSc ..then move for Ivy league school like UCB, MIT , Harvard, the same what Chitrang did.
@Partha kumar Chatterjee idiot he is in Steve's university 7 year ago his package was 15 lakhs in India when he went abroad his knowledge was not up to mark that company wanted he was not sponsored by company he went alone
There are many such types of students in india but lack of knowledge effect them many state board students even don't know about olympiad exams are there ....
@@harshitawasthi2732 That's not narrow mindedness , that's the partiotism I guess... Why don't you stay in India and try to make India better instead going to other countries?? We belong to same city udaipur, I first met him with some of my Delhi Public School friends. During preparation he comes from kota to udaipur on weekends. I am shocked when he clears our doubt and teaching of topics in conceptual manner. We think that time he will be the 1st ranker of IIT and he proves it. I have never seen such friendly and amazing guy. He sure reach new heights. 👏👏
I am studying from the teachers who also taught him , and they always told us many things about him he is really incredible student , he is inspiration for all of iit jee aspirant
MIT beats IIT when it comes to research and facilities. However, its harder to get into IITs than MIT purely because of the competition in India. If a person wants to get into research or get a high paying job and settle in USA (greencard) as quick as possible then MIT is the best option. It has to be noted that most IITians end up in USA making big bucks despite whether he or she studied in MIT or not.
@omkar joshi oho. .this fool is bck ...guys dont giv a shit on him...he givs bad comments about iits almost in evry iit vid...this fool is starting to annoy me...asshole..Fool!!!!
@omkar joshi IITians in the realm of Engineering & Science &Technology/ Software Nandan Nilekani Vinod Khosla - Sun Microsystems Amit Singhal Sumit Jain - Open talk Binny Bansal - Flipkart Dr. K Sivan - ISRO is phD IIT Bombay Dr Sanghmitra Bandyopadhyay - IIT Kgp Dr. Subhash Kak - IIT Delhi Shiraz Minwalla - IIT Kanpur Rajesh gopakumar - IIT Kanpur Sandip Trivedi - IIT Kanpur And many more. If you don't know these guys that proves you don't even care about science and technology. Period !!!!!
@omkar joshi You know one thing? Nobel Prize is not the only criteria of greatness. The Swedish academy is not beyond any criticism. Indians like Dr ECG Sudarshan & Narinder Singh ( Father of fibre optics ), Satyendra Nath Bose , etc.. were well deserving than many other white men who got the prize. And further , There is a gap between invention and prize being given ( 20-30 years gap you can see sometimes). So you can expect IITians grabbing Nobel prizes in near future. Mark my words. And IITians means people who have studied at IITs if one studied in foreign universities after IIT still he is an IIT alumni.
Well.. you can really make to mit or other univs!! Just give some Olympiads, do a social work, teach people.. and you need the most important thing, curioisty!! Just bind to it! It will land you in place you didn't expect to go like most cool univs. All the best 👍👍
An Indian in India: I'm stupid. Indians in India: Yes, you're. We agree. An Indian in America: I'm stupid. Indians in America: We're all stupid. Americans in America: If you brainy people call yourself stupid, it means we're stupid, too. Because only a stupid can let another stupid in.

We study from school, college, IITs to become a servent/worker.... not the Boss. The education system makes us good Google employees bt it doesn't encourage us to make our own Google. In India, we have millions of employees bt only thousands of jobs...this is the problem. We need job creators!!!
India is yet to produce a Nobel laureate in Science since independence. That indicates the lack of suppirt for world class research. MIT has research labs like Media labs where you can apply your knowledge to solve real world problems and even inventing advanced technologies for the next century. Nobel prizes are very common in MIT and every year there will be someone from that world no.1 institute getting it.
In iit Bombay government give research fund is zero . As In other iit government give research fund nearby more than 200 crore in chemistry , physics , technical research etc. Depend on iit as you can check this .If he gone in other iit whose research fund is more he should can't leave iit .
He was first in Bansal...then allen brought him to the coaching...he was my mate in allen coaching...I know him better than you.. don't say anything on the basis of advertisements you see
Hey I kind of wanted to point out that computer science is more than just building programs according to your client's specifications. There's considerable research that goes into computer science. After all computer science in essence is a branch of mathematics, and it's about algorithms, and optimisation. The problem here is that 90% of the people who want to study CSc at IITB want it only because of the money. They aren't interested by the subject, and they don't find it fascinating. Now this puts me in a bad position, because you see I am truly passionate about computers. I started programming when I was 9, and solving algorithmic problems just gave me joy. I hate it when people don't know the distinction between people like me and people who want to do it for the money. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, human interfacing are fascinating fields of research for computer science. If none of them interest you then you're probably not a good fit for computer science. Please don't fill up the very limited seats available in our country just for the money, only to leave later and insult the subject.
@@SinghinUSA What you said is indeed true, I wasn't trying to prove you wrong. I might have gotten a little carried away. In any case, I really love your videos, and you should know you're doing an amazing job making entertaining and informative videos. Keep it up! 😊
@@deformercr6680 bruh🤦 india is a country where majority of us are middle class people.A huge amount of us never got enough guidance and knowledge related to the feild you are talking about.Did our school taught us stuff about computers deeply. What about state board students who never got the exposure of these stuff? Majority of us don't even know what they want to do in thier life? You are speaking as if you are blaming them. How would a student would able to know about stuff of artificial intelligence and machine learning and stuff when they never got the exposure of these stuff.I don't think 18 years olds know what they want to do in thier life, all the know about is IIT and packages. Why blaming them to run behind packages when they saw their parents struggle throughout their life, their "middle class parents".
@@deformercr6680 If something is to be blamed is the education system of our country and most importantly the over population which creates rat race mentality.

Also what about those who only studied cbse books throughout their childhood. What if they get intrested in subjects once they get into IIT, what's wrong in that? And you can't disagree the fact cse is a demanding/lucrative these days.So what's worng for running behind money. If you want to study cse in IIT Bombay, crack IIT, that's set.Why blaming the hardworking students.Blame the education system, blame the population, blame the poverty and middle class situation of people.
It maybe for you But a student preparing for IIT is not so dumb... They too are highly intelligent I have seen my coaching friends They were different from normal students of same age group And then after entering into IIT you get to explore many new dimensions of life... This thing is sufficient to make you ultra successful if you want that much success Some people say IITs and IITians are overrated Believe me... The day on which the faculties and research activity will match to that of MIT... IITians will be much more better than MITians But for the time being We have to cooperate with what we have
Hii...Harnoor...i can't tell how much i m thankful to you. Literally i was looking for the interview of chitrang or where is he now for few days...and here u r.... Its like u hv heard me☺❤
MIT gives Admission to the GOLD MEDALIST of International Physics Olympiad - IPHO and Chitrang got in MIT because he is a GOLD MEDALIST. Debaditya Pramanik, Lay Jain are also Gold Medalists of IPHO. Malvika R. Joshi is also a Gold Medalist of International Olympiad of Informatics. Please DO THIS CORRECTION in your video. Don't mislead students.
Learning from this video/his journey: Live your passion. Don't do what others are doing or thinking. I also did not like computer programming etc so I chose Mechanical. (Although I could easily pursue CS/IT and end up doing desk jobs or similar things....horrible)

His family might be prosperous or any other for handling them. They had other good earning sources I guess. That's why they can go abroad only for the sake of research. But other students need to handle their family with financial support as soon as possible. I think you should not make videos of comparison between study in India and US, it hurts many people.
People who left India for other country is not problem but don’t want to come back in India is slap on our own country..u go there but at some point u have to come back to India to give services to ur own beloved country..it’s our duty to comeback and I also done this 4 years ago and now running a Fruitful startup in Bangalore..paisa kam kam lo but India ko grow krvao bcoz next generation fir bahar nhi jayegi
This is the sad reality of my country , students get cheap and quality education at iits on tax payers money and then they leave india for forever , they do not help in enhance of Indian economy , brain drain must be stopped
Chote shehr mai jo bachhe padte hein unhe koi nahi poochta dimaag hai ya nahin. Saari suvidha sirf Bharat ke bade shehron ke bachhon ko diya jaata hai. Talent desh ki kisi bhi kone mai hosakti hai. @Smart Xavier yes you are right but you should know one thing that is indian government never gave advertisement about IITs. The coaching institutes made iit as race. But if we talk about education then in undergraduate level IITs have good quality education at affordable cost
Geethanjali Balaji, but first, you might aspire to use at least full stops (or periods) and commas in your writing, and make it easier for readers to decipher your content. That would show that you respect and value posters' writing. At the step after commas are semi-colons; after that there's no stopping you. The world is yours to conquer!
