From a perspective of a Bhutanese living and studying community development and having had deep connections about nature and people’s life, I believe Bhutan can go a long way in showing the world our core importance and value of mother nature and the stories behind them. We are privileged to be born in such beautiful that nature and people co- exist with harmony. climate change and it’s negative affects being one of the main concerns of the world, it is of paramount importance that we take steps in preserving our environment and adopt more environment friendly technologies for the developmental activities. What our park rangers and forestry officers are doing is phenomenal. We really should give due credit to them for all times to come.
I don't understand why you ride the elephants? Doesn't that domesticate them? Having tourists ride elephants is extremely distasteful to the idea of a sanctuary no matter how many dollars they will pay for the privilege.
