Earlier after I got off work at my local McDonalds, I was sitting in the lobby eating my after-work snack and waiting for my mom to pick me up. I was feeling very happy and dreamy and hoping for the music that would be playing on the radio station through the speakers there to match my mood. But oh my goodness, talk about irony! THIS heartwrecker was what was playing! That was the first time I had ever heard this song, and I only heard the last few lines, but man, it was enough to rip my heart out! That's the mark of a good song though! One that makes you feel! :)

Oh man, I remember this song. I bought it on CD back in ‘06 on my first visit to Hong Kong. I had a thing saving up my money and travelling back then, even saved the music I would listen to on the holiday and wouldn’t listen to it until then. Anyway, I arrived in Hong Kong after several months saving my pennies in a crappy chauffeur job. I booked into the hotel and went and sat in Kowloon Park and put this song on whilst watching people do tai chi in the park. I must’ve sat there for hours listening to this song and watching the people do their tai chi. Great memories.

My dad’s bestfriend died yesterday (whom I never knew). He came into my room and talked about his friend and how much memories they made during their hs years. He told me about this song, said these were the days he treasured most. He also cried a bit, and told me he loves me very much. I was deeply touched and started thinking about life.

When I listened to this song, it actually reminds me of a very bad break up I had and it took me two years to get over it. I remembered that time, I just wanted to go over to her house and just see her from outside, I also wanted call her so badly but I hold on, when I do it became just worst. So the lyrics like 'you have no right' or 'built that wall' is so true. I just went on my life going to work like a robot, go home, look at four corners of my room wall and prays to God to let the pain pass. Little do I know, it went on for 2 years. Now I am happy in another relationship and this song is so real to reality. Life is hard and breaking up is the hardest.

It reminds me of my sister , she never let go of her husband she loved him right until the end , but all he did was bring her heartache .She could just not move on.
