This has to be the greatest song of all disney. It sends a powerful message in reality not fantasy like. It teaches that everything will come with paitence and the ambition to learn and in the end everything will come together. Cause sometimes theres no one there to guide you and that everything would wondered of all of it will be answered with time. Its okay to not know anything in the beginning. Love it with a passion
No god but Allah Islam way for peace and the real monotheism Search for the truth and right way with honest heart And ask him for the right way for his mercy

tarzan used to be one of my favorite movies as a kid i even played the video game on the playstation. now im 22 and i hadnt seen tarzan in maybe 10 years until today. now i see why i loved the movie. it was because of this song! as a 4 year old i always wondered what i would be like as a grown man. this song brings many tears to my eye. growing up i became a musician and i will make my own version of this song. LONGLIVEPHILCOLLINS LONGLIVETARZAN
Once again, This is my literally my favorite track from such an iconic film from my childhood, and what a Legendary track by Phil Collins. I literally can't describe what this song means to me, and the soundtrack in general, as I couldn't even be able to fit it all in this box. How time flies though. As a kid, I always looked at this song as an inspiration after all I've been through, and the lyrics age like fine wine as time goes and I still take it too heart, till this day, and it helps me out through time, and brings many memories, and helps me keep going. How I wish I could go back, and relive those innocent days, or make change but we all go through life like a flash. I think the best lyric, and the one that I take too heart the most would be "O Though there's no one there to guide you, no one to take your hand But with faith and understanding, you will journey from boy to man." The lyrics to my life, with all I've been through, and as day by day goes, it gets better.
I feel this soundtrack just like you do. It's epic. It's too good. This, and the soundtrack to spirit:stallion of the cimmaron are two of the greatest in animated films. You can tell there was some divinity at work through phil collins when he made this
Well....yes and no, have you seen How to train your dragon, Hotel Transylvania and the Ice age movies? And maybe Big Hero 6? (I still have to see that one)
the 90s a time where there was no voice sync no one judges by what the artist is wearing a very simple and amazing era and finally the music was music not a false flashy performance i really love that song thanks for uploading it
These people probably hatin' cause Phil Collins was actually omnipresent on the media sphere in like the 80's and 90's. And so a lot of people got fed up with him. But I mean he makes awesome music so why not. (Obviously I'm born in 1999 so I wouldn't know about that whole thing with Phil Collins, but I mean I've just been lulled and soothed during my childhood by the beautiful melody of Another Day in Paradise thanks to my parents, so yeah lol)
0:38 if you watch phil, his eyes close when singing sometimes and at this timestamp he nearly goes off the stage. His foot goes on the border thing lol.
Literally just turned 19 years old, on the 19th, and I just have to say every year I always listen to this song since its my childhood when I was growing up. I honestly can't believe how fast time passes, I'll always remember playing this on the PS1 with my twin brother legit so many memories, I literally remember it as if it was yesterday. It's honestly so sad to see that Disney longer makes shows like these & how fast time passes. Whenever I listen to this song, I can't just help but remember the countless memories I have with it even shedding tears when I hear it. Truly amazing, and my childhood song. The song of my life and how its described. 💙🎉
Honesty, my all time favourite movie since my childhood. Legendary soundtrack by Phil Collins, The Cast, the storyline, and the characters. Till this day, this movie and soundtrack brings me joy and a bit of tears to my eyes. If you asked me to describe this movie, I couldn't fit it all in this box. This film once carried out many childhoods espically with my generation, and some of these music literally give sentimental meaning to my past experiences, and life. Pure legend of a film. How time flies though. On Tuesday, the 19th of April, I'll be 20. How I wish we could all go back in time to live these days. "Though there's no one there to guide you, no one to take your hand But with faith and understanding, you will journey from boy to man." The lyrics to my life, with all I've been through. The greatest soundtrack of all time.
We will never have another disney soundtrack like this. Not ever again. Don't get me wrong. I loved Surface Pressure and We Don't Talk About Bruno from Encanto, but Phil Collins had us pumped. This was a soundtrack that I think many of us could've listened to for hours as kids. Not only did the songs get us pumped up, but they were inspiring and the visuals were incredible. He went hard on this soundtrack. Harder than any other disney artist (sorry Elton John).
Man, I'm 19, about to be 20 soon and this was literally my childhood growing up. I'll never forget even playing this on the PS1. How time flies. Sad to see Disney don't make movies like these anymore. This is the song of my life, literally, and the soundtrack. The lyrics and everything, always bring tears too me espically with the powerful messages, and all I've been through. Phil Collins, my all time favorite legend, the guy who helped me throughout my life.

I am actually in awe of the way Phil Collins just *feels* the music. This is someone clearly so proud of what he's created and knows he's doing great! I love it!
The first CD game I got was Tarzan when I was 4 years old. It had those movie cut scenes. I was obsessed with that game and the songs for years! Later I discovered the Hercules too. Man what a good times those were!
Me too. Most unfortunately, I never saw Tarzan as a child, now I know I would've absolutely loved having that song as a childhood memory as I grew up in life instead of kinda discovering it in my 20's (I had already kinda heard it and knew about it before, but never listened to it properly, until this year).
Oh, the power to be strong And the wisdom to be wise All these things will Come to you in time On this journey that you're making There'll be answers that you'll seek And it's you who'll climb the mountain It's you who'll reach the peak Son of Man, look to the sky Lift your spirit, set it free Some day you'll walk tall with pride Son of Man, a man in time you'll be Though there's no one there to guide you No one to take your hand But with faith and understanding You will journey from boy to man Son of Man, look to the sky Lift your spirit, set it free Some day you'll walk tall with pride Son of Man, a man in time you'll be In learning you will teach And in teaching you will learn You'll find your place beside the Ones you love Oh, and all the things you dreamed of The visions that you saw Well, the time is drawing near now It's yours to claim it all Son of Man, look to the sky Lift your spirit, set it free Some day you'll walk tall with pride Son of Man, a man in time you'll be Son of Man Son of Man's a man for all to see
you wonder why no new movies have the same effect, and u come to the conclusion nothing is real performances anymore, therefore they have no impact. the oldies will never die
I was about 5 when this movie came out, but I still remember some very significant details about the movie release - interviews that had show on tv. First one - (if you notice the entire Tarzan album is written by Phil Collins) this is because the writers of the movie made a contract with Collins to write the entire soundtrack. Collins asked in return that because all of the songs were his, he would be allowed to publish them on an individual album outside of the movie productions. Second- I remember the interview very clearly. This detail is of one of the head animators on the team who drew inspiration from his son who was a surfer. He watched his son surfing in the ocean waves and turned it into Tarzan "surfing" in the trees. I have tried many times to find the interview on youtube but with no success.
