Im a City fan and I agree. He is world class in and around the box, but as yet, nowhere else. He still hasn't secured any known modern position, too passive on the wings and lightweight in central midfield, though our fans perpetually claim he will make it there.

He has more goals, assists, appearances, starts, minutes, and trophies (individual and team) than ANY player of his age and it’s not close. Has been a regular in the best team of the last decade since he was 17 years old, won U17 WC as best player of the tournament. It’s somehow a slight on Foden that a manager who picks Maguire and Phillips every match won’t pick him regularly? He gets into every single team in the Prem. Walks straight in.

Foden isn’t the only one, Bernardo still hasn’t nailed a particular spot and Pep just uses he and Foden where it makes sense for that tactic.
