I think Ampadu probably needs a rest. We don't seem to have controlled the midfield so much recently. Farke needs to bed other players in. It's a risk, but so is wearing players out.
FEAR of the play offs seems to be the fans biggest concern. I would like to see us go in 3-0 up at HT and Farke using his substitutes earlier than the last 10 or 15 minutes. ALAW. MOT ✌🎶You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one...🎶
And looking at the table that's our week point compared to the two above us, which almost seems strange given how potent we are going forward. We've actually conceded 5 or 6 less than Ipswich. It'll all come good at the end of the season 🤞
Great show. Totally agree that we are having a great season which doesn't look as good as it really is, because it's like having two Championship versions of Man City above us. Surely one of them must start to slip.
Matteo Joseph loooked keen as mustard on Tuesday. Would like to see far mins from him, maybe give him second half. Bring off Pireo, drop Rutter back and hey presto.
Yeah give James a rest, give Willy a full 90ish to see what he's got. He can properly run at defenders which is what we need to break down teams like Sunderland with a solid defence
Look when we lose it feels worse because of the other 2 teams' ridiculous seasons. After 21 games last season the team at the top had 41 points, so do we. We are having a really good season
Using players who were not well like Rutter clearly showed his lack of rotation cost us. Ampadu needs a rest, Kamara was terrible passing but ok tackling and breaking up play. Dan James not in it. We had other options with fresh legs and using 17yo Archie in every game asks for trouble
I would be looking at Tyler Denton at Scunthorpe. LB. He's scored 4 this season, and hes fast. Came up through our youth, think scored 2 for us in only 3 games. Then Steve Evens ruined his career and took him with him to Portsmouth. Scunthorpe top of the league now. Also he's a Leeds fan. By rights, he shouldn't be a LB. Worth a scout.
I liked the look of Tyler in the game time he had with us. Respectfully though he's 28 years old and playing Conference North. Many many more options in the Championship and even League One to go at that are affordable and should have an impact.
@GrahamWestley1 granted. But l reckon he could do the job. And if there are so many options, why haven't we got one? He was one of those players that for no reason just slipped away. He scored one of the best goals I've ever seen a couple of months back. Ran the whole pitch with it and hit it, from the wing from about 30 yards out. Serious worldy. Could pay his wages and not bat an eye. Anyway, ifs, ands, pots and pans. 😆
Think a few players need a rest Ampadu Gray and sometimes we could make 1 or 2 changes. Even upfront Gnonto & Anthoney could start giving James & Summerville a rest not dropping them just resting them because the players look shattered
We’re forgetting about loan players when it comes to next season’s FFP. Harrison should fetch £25m. Roca’s doing well so we should be able to get £15m-£20m for him. How much more money does a Championship team need?
@@lightninggornall maybe they can but convincing some one with ability to sign for Leeds is no easy task, and like Byram, a former player is likely to give more effort than the kinds of players they bought last season
it was wasn't about effort last season , it was about quality and inept managers, the worst performers from last season are still here, messlier, ayling strujik, cooper, firpo and bamford@@cgdimension
@@lightninggornall rubbish leeds had a better team than most of the lower half teams last season, several had just played in the world cup and performed well, they just didn't give a feck about Leeds, Brentford don't have an amazing squad but they've done great and put a shift in week in week out, same at Villa, relegation fodder to top 3 in one season with few additions because the new boss has won them over and now they put the effort in, physically and mentally. Leeds brought in talented players before and after promotion just a lot of them lacked the attitude, a home grown player will want to do everything for their club so I'd take a Clarke over a Gnonto any day
several played in world cup ,thats strange because adams worked is ass off every game and so did aaronson despite the latters poor contribution so who are you actually talking about because gnonto along with sinisterra and adams were our best players last year along with our best defender who was another new signing in wober, it was the old guard and some of the young leeds lads who i mentioned were the problem@@cgdimension
Leeds are trying to get promoted on the cheap as i expected with the Yanks We've not brought any real quality into the squad which would benefit us in the premier league ..Farke's decisions can be great like Leicester but baffling and self defeating in other games Stoke ,Sunderland ,Rotherham etc etc The bad performances seem to be away . Rutter the other night wasn't having a great game but he at least looked like he might create something and takes him off It was the Same with Summerville when he was playing well It makes no sense Summerville tried the other night but nothing was working for him Kamara and Ampadu seem to be struggling the last 2 or 3 games I'd have played Gray in the middle .We have a squad but when we make subs little happens Farke seems to have two tactics the normal match day tactics and when we start to struggle he just bungs on lots of attacking options more in hope then any design .At Norwich it changed the game [ onl y game i can remember where it worked ] yet when we went in front he then brought defenders on to try secure the lead Which is a dodgy tactic considering our defenders are pretty poor . Clarke was the best player the other night Huggins ex Leeds played well as well We've had some good young players but few seem to make the grade and prosper elsewhere If Leeds get promoted with this team we would get relegated. This team is no where as good as the Burnley team from last year We've no guaranteed premier league quality .and should be looking to buy some quality .We don't want to get promoted then try build a new team and try to acclimatise to a harder league that would be suicidal Fulham tried it and Huddersfield and both got relegated To have the best chance of staying up you need to have most things in place before you start That's why we did so well under Bielsa We only had one loan player and just needed to buy a couple of quality players to add to the squad Semi final memories it was like a funeral coming out after that game but it also could have been like Liverpool V Forest there we were pulling people out of the stand below otherwise it could have been a disaster that day They were forewarned and did nothing I was thinking of my past visits to Cov yesterday One story was at Highfield Road back in 77/78 There was a lad that used to come with us on our bus with his Cousin They were both wild they were called Beaky and spastic [ this is what they called each other ] Beaky had a big nose and Spastic had one leg .When we played Cov away Spastic was to skint to go so he sold his aluminium leg then reported it to the police and his doctor .He went to the hospital expecting them to give him another leg but they didn't They sawed a crutch it half and nailed it to his doc martin boot and gave him a walking stick as well . When we went to Cov we were confronted by some Cov fans outside the ground So Spastic hit this cov fan over the head with his walking stick The police immediately rushed through the crowd and grabbed Spastic They asked why he had a stick He replied It's my leg " What's wrong with your leg ?" I ain't got one ..The police let him go He was a crazy guy and always in trouble with the police He once robbed his neighbour across from his flat when it was snowing The police arrived almost immediately When he asked the police why they thought it was him They opened his curtains to see a a one legged footprint from his flat to the broken window of his neighbours flat Football was crazy back then with lots of characters There was so much violence at Football every week, So many people were attacked and one friend was killed at Spurs
Not brought in quality? Ampadu, Rodon, Spence, Kamara, Piroe, Anthony are all top level Championship signings, and not cheap. Not to mention retaining Gnonto, Rutter, Summerville. Think you are being very harsh. Can't expect to be signing Rodrigo De Paul and Erling Haaland where we are currently.
Do you actually read what you write? Who are you expecting to sign in the championship who are better than gnonto, rutter, summerville, spence, rodon, ampadu and kamara
@@SteveGreenwood-gb7dc Fairly easy to explain actually , we gave everyone a months start at the beginning of the season , players going awol, and farke with his lack of substitions until late on ,we beat ipswich once and i have no doubt we will beat them again at elland road, ipswich have been amazing so far and if they still have a 10 point gap by the time they have played leeds and leicester over christmas then they are sure favourites for promotion
@@lightninggornall If you're serious about getting promoted you can't afford to take a month off Don't we ever learn it took us 16 years last time so you would think we would do what ever we can to make sure everything is in place yet we didn't do that .Gnonto doesn't even look interested Spence as played two games and hasn't done much in those games Ampadu as been a decent championship player but he's not been at it the last 2 or 3 games Kamera 's best game was Leicester and played well after that but he's gone off the boil last 2 or 3 games Rodan is an average Championship player at best He's like Cooper he causes us more problems then the good he does Trying to dribble out when he doesn't have the ability to do He doesn't play like a class CH like he's in control He lunges in and his unitidy Rutter is a mixture of brilliance and comedy Summerville as played well for most of the season an dcould maybe produce in the premier league not sure about the rest and that's where we aim to be .Who would have thought we would have convinced Bielsa to come to Leeds If you don't try you never know and We just seem to accept it and that kind of attitude keeps you where you are
