Thank you Pastor Phil for the wonderful message. I know you have spent hours to prepare this message. Thanks for the hard work in getting the message to us
Love and prayers for our godly under-shephards, such as Phil. More of this is needed in a world which sacrifices truth and kindness. Brothers, sisters, here is a verse I just read to inspire all of us: Proverbs 3:3-4 "Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and man."
Really love Phil Johnson in his thoroughness, preparation, & well researched approach to his presentation His upfrontness & clarity is easy to follow & understand... Excellent work.
Thank you. I got born again a few years back and yes the Neo evangelicals drew me in..I'm thankful for them (and you), in that season of my life i needed their warmth and to be repeatedly reminded of God's love for me,,,i fell in love with the Lord. By God's grace i'm maturing from infancy and in search of more solid food. 1 Corinthians 3:6 ..One plants, the other waters but it's God who grows the believer.... 1 Corinthians 12;12-27..different body parts one body...
We have to be separate from them not celebrating pagan holidays Christmas Easter. These are all things that are on the world to make you love the world to make you love your life in this present evil world. This is why so many people in the churches are sleeping today. This is why so many young believe there’s a hole in the ozone because they were told by men God‘s word is indignation is coming down on a sin filled world
God knows who His people are. He will use His people to further His plans. While I don't disagree with anything the Pastor said I just think ultimately the labels are irelavant.
Biblical doctrines are NEVER "non-essential". True doctrines glorify God. For God Himself is the Truth. What glorifies God is the "essential business" of the CHRISTIAN.
Ya, almost like when John the Baptist called religious people snakes, or Jesus Flippin out in the temple..mAn poor little nothing of a preacher Johnson being "frank" with a subject.. "White washed tombs" ~Jesus
Speaking the truth in love (Eph. 4) is a necessary element of Christianity. Paul warned us to "note those who cause divisions (lit. 'occasions of stumbling') and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and AVOID THEM" (Rom. 16:17). The apostle Paul also "named names" of those who's teaching was lethal to orthodox Christianity. Therefore, Phil is standing on good Biblical soil in doing what he's doing here. Blessings...
Ho come on!... Get real! It's obvious to me you don't like his upfrontness & frankness in his presentation. As you say nasty & condemnator... I'm praying for your spiritual weakness.
