ATR doesn't get enough love. Love Phil! Cant wait to see what jason can bring to the table. If you arent a fan, you gotta listen to This Darkened Heart and The Fall of Ideals. These albums are masterpieces. Not 1 bad song.
Their past few albums have been a bit lackluster. They’ve been leaning too much into that Five Finger Death Punch style of production. It’s not for them, they need to get back into that fast melodic metalcore shit 🔥
Dude listening to his work on the fall of ideals is amazing, the guy was a genius. I’m glad they’re still making music I can’t wait to hear the heavy shit
Man I remember seeing ATR in 2006 opening For AILD. How time passes. He looks aged and tired but still driven for his art. This band never missed for me their tunes are great. R.I.P Oli Herbert.
Right!! So glad I was an 80s baby and witness them in the flesh and so many other great band's that were in their early years. KOЯN being my favorite, ATR, Mudvayne, SLIPKNOT and many other's
The Fall of Ideals was my intro into metal core and All That Remains has always been a favorite throughtout the years. So excited for this coming record and Phil is such a humble guy. Seen them 3 times and had the pleasure of meeting Oli and talking with him after a show in Kansas City. Absolutely love this band
GUYS ITS HAPPENING Jokes aside, no one will replace Oli, ever. He was my hero, and I was fortunate enough to be able to call him a teacher and a friend. That being said, I'm incredibly excited to hear what Jason Richardson brings to the table, and I cannot wait to hear what this album has in store for us.
@@rossauce12 He was a gem of a human being, and while I had a lot of far less high profile guitar teachers, he was the most humble, without even an ounce of egotism.
Hay I'm so excited for this new album by all that remains and I'm excited for the possibilities for a tour this year 2024 I'm hoping all that remains comes to my state Arizona that wold be so cool
I love ❤️ All That Remains Because there are one my favorite Metal Bands that has a Hard Thrash Metal Sound on there Albums Phil Labonte is heck of a Metal Vocalist that has a Awesome Metal Voice in the Metal World I Can't wait for the New All That Remains Record 💿💿💿🎧🎧🎸
1000% with Phil on writing songs about your experiences or things you've seen resonate way better with an audience. That's why I can personally remember so many lyrics to songs when they come on versus ones that I can't resonate with because that's usually lesser than genres.
All That Remains got me into metal and metalcore music. This is exciting to see and love this. Got to see them live at BRRF in 2022 from the barrier and the energy was unreal.
Got to finally see them for the first time in 2019 in St. Louis with Attila and escape the fate. Amazing show. Front row and in the pit the whole time. Been a fan since the fall of ideals album.
The last ATR tour was not last year - it was in 2022, March-May. So, nearly two years ago, now. I remember this, because they were streaming the tour on Twitch, and I was watching it as I was getting ready to move states, which, my move was in May of ‘22; as well as they played in my hometown, in April ‘22, and streamed it from the theater I saw my very first metal show at, The Senator.
I have such great memories of seeing ATR on This Darkened Heart tour where they played the whole album all the way through and staring at Oli just feet away lighting up the fretboard like the guitar god he was. Phil is pretty damn legit live too...
When I saw Tim Pool's show for the first time, I was like, "There's no way that's the front man for All That Remains." I thought he must have dropped out of making music. (It wasn't so good after Fall of Ideals)
I loved their first couple albums and saw them on the tours for albums #1, #2 and #3 back in the early 2000s. They really fell off with that Madness album....the one before it wasnt the best either but nowhere near as bad as Madness. RIP Oli
I love ATR, they kinda fell off around 2012 due to poor management. Their 2018 album, I didn't even know released until their new single came out, Divine, in 2024. This band, along with As I Lay Dying, and Unearth, got me into really playing guitar and taking it seriously. And Wow, i just had to look up the circumstances around Oli's passing...just...wow...if you're curious, definitely look it up, very shady situations.
