My husband and I don’t get each other gifts for Christmas. Yes, sometimes I find him something he really wants or needs and I don’t receive and that’s ok with me. That’s not why I give.
I convinced my dad to buy my mom some jewelry after 26 years of marriage. He was under the impression she didn’t want it. We worked on the road together and after a year i finally talked him into it. He bought an antique locket and gave it to her and she cried. He ended up giving her several other things. He passed at 62 and she treasures them now.

Phil, I have been waiting for you to do something like this for Miss Kay for awhile. The reason she hoards is because something is lacking in her life. I know it can be hard if you are a quite person, and your spouse is a talker, have been there. When I started making time to listen to him, it changed thing's for the better, because human's by nature need interaction and to be heard, or they will resent you. You can skip anyone else's bday, but you took an oath with Kay, and honoring her is part of it. I have felt her pain when I hear her talk about the bad times, and she always makes a comment about her part in holding onto the marriage, but like she is still waiting for that recognition. I know she love's you, because she has everything taken care of for you, down to making sure you have money in your wallet, and the meals planned out. Sarah was the blessing in the house of Abraham, and the cloud of Shechinah disappeared when she died, and it didn't return until Rebecca walked into Sarah's tent, which is how Issac knew that Rebecca was the one. For Miss Kay to be that shocked, tells you how long she has felt appreciated. God bless all of you.

I love that Phil is in hunting mode including cammo look..I love eating fowl. Not a lot of meat to them. Good thing there's lots of them. We can't survive on herbs alone. People survived on hunting and growing food. We need to go back to that. Phil you're making me hungry 😋 Same with fishing..I love fishing with my husband. I'm a pretty good trout fisher. I'll even clean it. It gives me pleasure to see how happy it makes my husband. That's why we're still together after 22 years.

I am sort of like Jase I visited a Cimenary School in San Francisco and I also spent sometime at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and I was just not comfortable with their overall approach. Probably not the right word to use and its just a bit hard to explain.
Jase and Willie call their parents by there names because Duck Commander used to be run out of the house and it didn't sound professional when customers called if they said "Mom its for you" so they used there names and it just stuck. Its nothing malicious or disrespectful

All this nonsense that happened in Washington DC today is not going to help anything. The election was done properly. People need to accept this and move on and Pray for Joe Biden that he will make decisions that will benefit everyone and protect the country as a whole.
That may be so but I didn't hear Trump clearly tell them that what they were doing was wrong. The only thing he said was to go home . They were influenced by Trump s comments that the election was false and that there was fraud committed even though there has been no evidence to support that. Trump lost the election. Joe Biden is the next president and I hope he will be treated with respect. We need to pray for Biden as his Job is a huge responsibility.
Duck is number one eaten fowl after chicken! Look it up! I looked on several sights ! Number one consumer meat is pork then chicken and duck is second most eaten fowl followed by red meat as the third most eaten meat! I think eating duck would be great and my son who is a duck hunter definitely agrees that duck is king! Ha
Even though it is ok to kill and eat animals I strongly feel like God wants us to kill the animal as fast as possible with as much mercy as possible so the animal does not have to suffer. I think of that Bible verse that speaks of how God knows even every bird. To me that means that He cares for His critters that He made and wants us to have respect for the gift of meat by showing mercy to the animal. Also I don't think people ate meat until after the flood when God told Noah that they could. It you look at the ages of people in the Bible compared to Noah the ages started dying younger and younger after they began eating meat. Look at Noah's age and those before him compared to the ages of his kids and grandkids when they died. I think that is because we were not created to kill and eat meat but because Adam and Eve screwed everything up it changed everything and messed the world up. Not only do people have to suffer because of sin but the animals have to suffer too. I imagine that before sin the animals were not wild because they had no reason to fear humans. God made perfection not a world of fear but humans screwed it up. So now it clearly states in Genesis and in the New Testament to Peter that eating meat of all kinds is not a sin.
The verse you are quoting from really has nothing to do with food, it is about the Hebrews no longer calling the Gentiles unclean. Peter understood this when the servants of Cornelius the Centurion came to him.
Think of how many people are in China and Japan, they prefer ducks. When he said that, I thought," no way" until he mentioned those countries. Now in the U.S. I would say chicken, but world wide, duck.

Acts 10 is all about the gospel coming to the Gentiles... not about hunting and not about eating unclean meat. Unclean meat is not food. Context matter... reading the full chapter before scriptures quoted and after are vital to understanding the scripture. It is an abomination before the Lord. God does not change. Well....this conversation has been had...past podcast... Short answer:Being in Family Business, since the boys where young...when answering business phone, boys were Instructed to not use mom& dad as reference to a waiting costumer on the phone.... They’ll openly spoke of this issue (AS WE’LL SHOULD DO)... My recommendation...is stick around and enjoy the PEACE OF GOD FEARING FAMILY.... BLESSINGS
That’s a matter of opinion. If there was a biblical backing to that I’m sure Jase would consider it but if Phil doesn’t care then it doesn’t matter. Shouldn’t matter to anyone else either. That’s their business.

It's not gossip, nor defamation of character. People aren't perfect, and Si and Jase have been known to be argumentative. I am. It's not the worst thing in the world. Some people are wired like that.

Your shows are a bright light in a dark time. I'm glad you followed up on the Duck Dynasty and continued with a show that glorifies God and living a life that you choose by measuring your choices by God's measuring stick, the bible. Sometimes I think that it seems dark because I'm looking in the wrong places. Oh well, I've got an eternity to learn. I like when you say, "Thats the point". I believe that was what Jesus was saying when He was raised and reappeared, the disciples said, "my Lord, and my God", and I believe He thought, "that's the point".
It was not the gift its self that moves the human heart it is the love that is given that moves the human heart. Love prevails over everything. Putting someone elses need before your own is love and Phil demonstrates this in different ways and in different manners. No doubt God placed that desire on Phil in order to show love toward his wife. God knows what we need and its obvious Miss Kay and others were blessed by Phils loving actions. So love is the greatest of all things.

Actually it was God showing us we should not call any man common or unclean. What God has made clean we eat, what God has made unclean we don't eat. God also says he will turn those that do not believe the Spirit of Truth in to reprobate minds...so theirs that, and we should have no fellowship with them. Fellowship is one thing, but we can certainly give them the gospel. God will not be mocked.
