I personally don't like Sony consoles. so I couldn't care less If they had no competitor for their pro. because I'm still stuck with the Xbox One S with 1 TB. And a lot of the games I play are only on Xbox, or I just preferably prefer using my Xbox to play the games. I do play with my Xbox cause of the console experience. mainly one problem about the PlayStation is really the joy-cons. I don't like the fact that the controls are in reverse from the Xbox. I also don't like the fact that the controller joystick is evened out all the way to the bottom, it makes it hard to game for me. When compared to the Xbox One controller, Xbox 360 controller, & comparing it to the current Xbox of course. The controller is all the same when it comes to the left joystick. It's on the top left of it, it's not in the bottom where the right joystick is located. So yeah, I say and guess there's a lot of reasons why I don't like PlayStation by Sony. But the other main reason why; like I said before. would be the games, a lot of the games that are on PlayStation. I don't even play and all the games I own, are all on the Xbox. why would I switch? Caz honestly. it doesn't make any sense.

Xbox has always been behind PlayStation.

We should have gotten dishonored 3 . Last edition of skyrim. Or fallout 4 next gen. Or bring back some of the Activision super hero. games . And they could have gone a fable collection and Or Re boot blue dragon.

I think the Series X still has some untapped grunt in it, but the Series S, and MS not willing to help/pay developers directly to optimize for the X, like Sony has for the PS5, have held it back. The PS5 Pro, looks like a nice piece of kit, but i just cant justify getting rid of my launch PS5, for what seems like a relative mild upgrade for $700 USD($965CAD). That's a lot of money.

can you all remember when ponies laughed about games being 30 fps on xbox? what exactly is the excuse for until dawn being 30 fps only? that's basically a visually less impressive game than hellblade 2. only small areas. nothing going on. that game should easily run 60 fps on ps5. what's going on ponies? are 30 fps fine now? i guess so 🤣🤣

I'm not going to purchase anything. The reason for this is that they are just constantly changing stuff. They can't make up their minds. I purchased The Path of Neo, it was released on the Xbox 360 at the end of its life. Then they released the Xbox One, and the Path of Neo went the way of the dodo. I played it twice on the 360, I liked it, but it was never made to be backwards compatible. So, I basically threw money away on a game that I actually liked. This has happened multiple times in the stream of gaming, but it's only getting worse. I can't be changing consoles like I change my underwear. I can't be throwing money away on games that get left in the dust because there's a new television technology being released every five minutes. The gaming industry is turning gaming into a career. It's gaming. It's supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be a distraction from real life. But, in order for me to keep up with the changes? I need to work ninety hours a week. Which leaves me no time to play the games. So, there's no reason to purchase new consoles or games. The internet costs are through the roof. The consoles are through the roof. The games are through the roof. The membership costs are through the roof. Gaming is no longer a fun distraction. It's a career that puts no money in my pocket. I hope that the rich and powerful enjoy gaming because they are the only ones who can afford it. It's sad because there are only ten rich people in the world. That's going to be boring. Major LOL! I'm done with gaming. I'm going to learn to play the guitar. At least I know that I own what I purchase. I don't have someone pushing me around to keep up with the insane changes. And I might be able to pay my bills, enjoy the guitar, and maybe I can entertain someone. Enjoy suckers of the world. I say suckers because the gaming industry is sucking everything out of people. Including the fun. Major LOL! I really enjoyed seeing the things that they can create on computers. But, I need to live and have a real life. I'm out of here.

What's the point in an Xbox Series X "Pro" when developers have to create games to run on the series S. The series X is still not being used to its full potential due to this and is pegged back, So why release another console that will be pegged back just as much. Using 8K as a selling point, but c'mon what percentage of console owners have an 8K TV or monitor? Probs less than 5%. In fact i would be VERY surprised if 5% have 8K TV's. They are not even doing 4K native its upscaled so why not do that first? But yeah no point in bringing another console out for it to be held back by the series S too... Kind of regretting getting my Series X, as essentially its an overpriced 1TB Series S

the first to implement something as good as DLSS will be the winner. Specifically super-sampling that doesn't require developer support...some will say that is FSR, but FSR is trash. Imagine running a video game on a console, but the game is running in a virtual console inside the physical console. Then the physical console hijacks the output from the virtual console...upscaling anything that is rendered and doing post-upscaling-fidelity-enhancements :)

I'm not even sure what the motivation was for Sony to green light a mid gen upgrade, especially when in terms of sales, they are double what Xbox Series is selling, if not more. A useless and pointless upgrade if you ask me..
