My dad died in 2012. I was addicted to heroin. I endured and became addicted to meth. The entire time I was using I heard God speaking to me. Then I got pregnant while addicted. It was scarier than losing my dad. I am now four years clean. And I can only give all the Glory to God!!!!

Jesus brought me this song after my husband, six year old grandson and I flipped out of a canoe in the middle of a huge lake with no one around. As we hung on to the canoe and my grandson panicked, a boat with a pastor and his family came out of nowhere and pulled us onto their boat. There is a line in this song- who pulled me out of the water, it was You! God rescued us by sending the pastor’s boat and then God gave me this song to remind me of how He helped us! God cares for us so deeply! I love You Jesus!

your comment made me well up, for I nearly drowned in our swimming pool when I was about 7-8yrs old. A rubber ring slipped round my legs and kept flipping me over and under and the more I struggled trying to swim up, the more I would just flip over and under again .. All I remember is bubbles everywhere, I could see the surface of the water and the beautiful ball of sun beyond the surface, but I couldnt reach it, then the next thing I see is an out stretched hand reaching down into the beautiful blue water surrounded my bubbles, the hand pulled me up and out by my ankle... That hand was my mums hand, God love her, God sent her to rescue me... There is even an image on google of Jesus reaching down into the water with bubbles everywhere and that is exactly the hand I saw when I was drowning.... Its taken me a long time to realise how good and great God is. I thank Him from the bottom of my heart for saving me. Amen Lord be Praised Amen

I escorted my beautiful 23 year old daughter while she walked the aile to he future husband to this song 🎵! He ceremony was gorgeous & so honoring to God, our Savior all at the same time. It was a moment that I will never forget & I'm so grateful to Jesus for all that he has provided!

First you must rest and eat well (I recommend that you read 1 Kings 19 and see when Elijah had depression and how God helped him), second you must surrender all your worries to God and seek professional attention from psychology because for something God allowed them to study that career. And finally, I don't know what you're going through, but let me tell you that the pain you feel today will not compare to the glory to come in the Kingdom of God if you continue to fight and be courageous. But, of you believe as I once believed...and that is that most people know about God and Jesus...and not saying that I'm above you in my walk...but I now know that most people do not know God or Jesus...or of their goodness. Just try and step back for a second and think of how a spiritually blind person might hear this song if they are in love with someone who is an idle in their life. They might plug that person into the "You's" and "He's" sung about in this song. The enemy is subtle friend. And glad that you're a believer. My wife of 11 years left me as well with 4 kids. We were pioneer church planting missionaries in East Asia. It is a long and tragic story, but God is good, and he’s all about bringing life in greater things out of tragedies. I always ask myself. What is the gift in this? The gift is a treasure that’s found in Christ. We truly are pilgrims in this world. One of my great friends, and missionary coworkers once told me when me “the pains and tragedies of life are a parable to remind us that we’re not home yet. Christ is our treasurer, the reward. There will be much stuffing in this world. But as Christians We walk with an unusual joy to in our suffering, because of this truth. Even in the middle of our deepest pain, our savior and our redeemer, Jesus Christ was with us. He is with us now and he will be with us tomorrow. He’ll be with us forever.

The week of our 16yr anniversary, my husband filed for divorce. I’ll admit, at this song I confused to be how much my husband treated me. When we sink beneath the surface of the waters, if we call out His name, He is always closer than we know. The storms only draw us nearer to Him, because He has never left our side. Started fighting cancer on February 14th, radical surgery, getting ready to head into the storm with my head up, because He carries me when I can not walk. I've been through 7 weeks of chemo and radiation therapy, 5 days a week every day on radiation. But still have my head lifted high. It's all recovery from here on. I know He could have fixed it all with just one word, but many times He leads us down a path with to gain strength for what He has prepared us to take others through with us. What ever His will is. I have cried so much listening to this song. My family had a church it closed down 2 years ago. After living in abuse my parents divorced last year. I thought we were free then my mum passed away in Feb this year from covid. I felt like I've slowly been dieing inside. Lord why have I been left alone? Where is your plan in all of this? You have a storm inside of you calmed by the "blessed peace", that's why you relate to those lyrics. Anger issues or something similar. It's only given by God. I know this because I too have the same. So does a lot of brothers and sisters in Christ. A lot of us are very similar, because we all follow the same Jesus Christ. Remember, all brothers and sisters in Christ are family and love each other. We're not alone, even if we aren't in the presence of anyone. Love ya like a bro does. Let that help you with life. I am actually hearing these lyrics the right way for the first time. It just hit me. I would always think of my husband who killed himself from fentynal yes on purpose. But out of no where something told me to" PUT THE SONG ON AND REALLY LISTEN TO THE LYRICS!" FIRST TIME I didn't think it was for my husband that died. I cried out to the lord Jesus christ last night. I actually got so sick from trying to use. God has been telling me to meet him half way that's why I haven't been healed. I need to at least try . So after crying out to him I wanted to throw everything out. But my sick addicted mind ...I felt like my body was making me use but I didn't want to. I was crying and when I did it I felt so sick. Like I didn't want it any more after that. Addiction is tricky. I know God can save me but I need to listen to him. He is telling me to throw the paraphernalia away and just listen to him. But my addicted brain and the spirit of addiction doesn't want me getting better. It's a battle. Every single day. I've never been so tired of being sick and tired. Unfortunately rehabs don't work for me and the amount of meds I'm on only God can cure me. And yeah I used to want to only listen to me and only me. Tried listening to the "professionals " at rehab and every single time the withdraw is so awful I leave after a few days. I've asked God to help with withdraw and he has done this before for me so I know it can happen again. I keep going through trauma and it never stops. So when I try to do better something keeps stopping me and it's the devil. He's been attacking me for years. Like you know how nothing ever seems to go ok? Every day something awful happens it seems. And I know I shouldn't be saying that at all because I need to be positive so God gives me strength and will forgive me.

I lost my mother who was a strong Christian woman. A transplant that had gone bad. She and I went to all her appointments and I hurt to this day that I couldn't help her. When I was a child, my family was in constant turmoil, parents getting divorced, 5 brothers and I being passed around like we were pawn on a chessboard. Dad grilled us every time we were with mom. Beatings were most every day went on his house. This worship song reminds me of how Jesus was with me every breath, every beating, every grilling. He protected me from the worst. I cherish Him. This song made me bawl my eyes out as I reflect on my journey. I am 28 years old and this songs unlocks all those precious moments and season growing up, moving from one house to another and how I never understand so many things in my life. At 18 when I first give my heart to the Lord and He helped me from all of my addictions, healed me from my broken heart - growing up without any Father, helped me to forgive my mother and learnt to love myself and love others. I remember when I use to tell myself when I was in my early teens "It's okay if I have You." "You are enough for me Jesus." I had nothing growing up and just having to know Jesus, it was enough for me. Still enough for me today. I don't have much but I am content!" This song is so precious to me and I am listening and saying to My Father, "I dedicate this song to You." I never knew my biological father, Its okay! "You are my Dad and I love you with all of my heart!" So if you grew up without your parents and you feel lost and don't understand what you are facing. I know how you feel and you are not alone. All you have to do is call Him, call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, confess and believe in your heart that He is Your Lord and He is Your saviour! He will come to your rescue. I called out to Him when I was 18, so broken, lost, addicted to the life of the world and don't know how to get out and constantly fight suicidal thoughts. Thank you. Thank you Jesus. After she left with our daughter, I was engulfed in darkness and addiction, and had lost the will to live. When I finally went "All In" for Jesus, surrendered everything, I saw a light in the darkness. With 4 years clean and sober, I am one of his miracles. Now I help others. And I have a great relationship with my daughter.....and her Mother. I am so grateful, after reading some of the comments, that I'm not alone in the darkness, and not alone in the solution either, neither are you.....Jesus's LOVE......Amen.
