I noticed the same thing (24:10). I see this type of call all the time in ultimate. It often seems like offensive players assume they have a right to make a play on the disc, even when the defensive player is in better position. Then when the offensive player changes direction toward the disc and initiates contact with the defender, they will call a foul because they "feel contact while trying to make a play on the disc". I wish this got noticed more and corrected. Since the offensive player is the one initiating the contact, it should be an offensive foul.
