Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams | 2023 Week 5 Game Highlights 

I just don't want them to over do it because guys also could get hurt like our tackles

Nine out of ten times the Eagles get it. Or they 92% of the time. So yeah, it is basically unstoppable.... The funny thing is that other teams have tried to do the same but only come up to 82% for the rest of the league. Which is still pretty good, but that 10% is huge considering that it's up against thirty-one other teams...lol!

It's eventually going to get him injured. I obviously hope that doesn't happen, but it's a lot of weight to have on top of you all at once.

@@Josh.WDW. That's how it goes. Great teams put themselves in advantageous positions to take advantage of and win in key moments over their opponent's mistake. Patriots had a 20 year run of doing exactly this.

Aside from a couple mistakes hurts, goddert , and brown had a good day.

My only concern is we do way too many QB sneaks an it may cause one of our tackles to get hurt..

As an eagles fan I was worried they'd beat the defense, but they're definitely going to be a problem when they start to gel

Yup and offense really helps the defense out by dominating time of possession. Even when they don’t score points they have long drives.

True Carter is a beast DROY the next Jerome Brown too, yes Reddick came alive getting double digit sacks this year too!

@@dannyblankenship8154 he's gonna be better than Jerome Brown. And don't get me wrong, I loved Jerome. But I never truly understood why people try and make him out to be this amazing Hall Of Fame lineman. He was good, but not spectacular or anything. The most sacks he ever had was 10.5 in his third season, and he had 9 his first. But his second year he only had 1, and his other two seasons before he died he had 4 and 5. He had a few fumble recoveries but no forced fumbles during his career at all... Carter already had 3.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, and that's not counting the hits and pressures he's given the QB we've been up against so far... He's probably one of the most disruptive rookie DTs I've ever seen. I don't want to jump the gun and jinx his future, but if he can keep playing like this then who knows what kind of numbers he may produce. If anything he reminds me more of Reggy White, even though Reggie was mostly a DE. But that speed and the way he moves is very similar.

Atwell and Higbee capable receivers as well, and if you look closely K. Williams been BALLING this season as well. I was pretty worried our shaky secondary would lose this game for us especially with Goodrich at the nickel vs Cooper Kupp... But man did the defense show up today and the offense did what that had to, this was honestly the toughest test of if we can win or not so far this season in my opinion and I'm very happy with the results, go birds 🦅🦅🦅

the last one showed 4th and 1 on the insert but the lines were 2 yards apart. jalen would have got the last first down if its 1 yard. 5 0 go birds stadium take over for the people by the people

They did not look as good to me today as usual. Hurts was hurried a lot. He’s athletic so he rarely gets sacked but for example Stafford would have got sacked 3 or 4 times if he played for the eagles. Of course rams have a good d line too.

O line is insane and tough as grinding it out and controlling the clock helps win games!

We were able to do that because we brought in Roby who did very well against Kupp, and we played closer coverage to give our guys time to get to Stafford, it was an excellent shift from our DC and our players!

they showed a stat that we got better pressure without blitzing. The 1st half i noticed more blitzes and our slots couldnt cover kupp and nacua 1 v1 which i dont blame them for, the ball just came out too quick. Definately a nice halftime adjustment

We actually only got 1 sack off blitzing and 3 off non-blitzes.

And best in the trenches with a run game and TOP winner and a pass rush on D!

We'll see how well the Eagles will do in the upcoming 8 games.
