I don't know why she thought that riding public transportation (with very vigilant security) would make people align with her, and see her as an in-the-trenches-with-everyone-else, person. I think the community would be more impressed with concrete actions.

How many awful things have happened during those 100 days. Mayor Parker can't raise good citizens. Only parents can. You never see here acknowledge the horrid state of parenting in the city. She should. Set an example as well as the right tone.

I was the one who said let all of city officials ride the bus whatever but did the mayor listen to the people talking about what's going on I want them to ride with me and then find out what they say
