I love this song so much. The first time I heard it at the end of the movie, especially the moment when it changes into that last sad melody as the rocket burst into flames and slowly spirals toward the earth, is just amazing. If you have never seen Koyaanisqatsi, take the time. One of the best recommendations a professor ever gave me.

@@liamcanavan5970Always has been, always will be, out of balance, that's why it's perfect, each blossom is unique, be it an old lady with dementia rotting away in an asylum, or a kid getting a Christmas gift from his parents, one distracted by misery and the other by apparent endless fortune, each has/will have the same fate as the other, they just don't realize it, but they are all perfect.

@@youregonnaburnalright7333 it means life out of balance with the natural world we are intrinsically a part of - that said genocide or slavery are not 'beautiful blossoms' in their own right

@@liamcanavan5970 I agree that we are part of nature, but we can't separate ourselves from what's natural, we are nature. Like you said genocide or slavery are not beautiful in their own rights, but so isn't a lion eating his cubs out of hunger, in the grand scheme of things humans are not different, nor more "unbalanced" than the rest, so I consider sharing the same chaotic environment with a Sakura Tree a blossom, some petals might be eaten away, some might grow with defects, humans might make atrocious actions out of hunger just like the lion, that might seem simply unbalanced at first, but each is perfectly unique in representing their nature and environment.

@Sebastian Verney it's a mix of both, i guess. I'm just like everybody else. I just don't put that much emphasis on 'art'. Sure, there is fictional stuff that i enjoy, but emotions don't rule my life and world if that makes any sense to you. I'm not bashing what others like. I'm cool with almost whatever makes the rest happy. Cheers!

Music is the definition of life. Free of ideals, bullshit, opinions and rhetoric. It flows as its own entity, highlighting yourself and the moment. Without the soundtrack, pictures are meaningless. Thank you for keeping me alive.

Picture it, it’s 9/11 again, for the twentieth time. Sitting in my crane overlooking New York City with this playing softly in my cab. The building are all new… but the city, the country, the world is out of balance. By the time 5min have played tears gently run down both my cheeks… but I guess it’s all just “prophecies”
