Different Paths One Family is a docuseries showcasing the legends of the game-changing AND1 tour. Here you will get an inside scoop on the story behind the icons.
He was a like a mythical being back in the early 2000s. In the hood people would spread rumors that hot sauce was coming to perform at the parks and people would show up thinking he really was there.
I use watch all the and1 mixtapes and the espn shows religiously as a kid trying to master all of hot sauce moves so i can pull them off in a game 😂😂 the good old days
This man changed how alot of people look at streetball today. He was the innovator of so many moves/tricks he's definitely a legend. He inspired me to play basketball period I idolized him. So many memories man straight nostalgic..💯 💯
Just watched the AND1 doc on Netflix....great recap and fun to relive the huge impact it had on the world. Was sad to see how it ended so suddenly and somewhat sour. They really coulda all been millionaires in this social media world....crazy.
These young basketball kids these days will NEVER know what it felt like to live in this era.. and what it felt like to be inspired by these guys.. I do, thank god. Much luv SAUCE
And1 Golden Era was classic. Always be remembered. I was in middle school when Skip (mixtape vol.1) came out and started doing Skips moves. I kinda stopped after Escalade passed away but And1 was legit!
I like the fact that he said that he birthing gave a lot of guys style and creativity because we cannot lie about that that is straight facts hot sauce really was an impact on Streetball but basketball for sure if you look at some of the things that these guys do today you can definitely see hot sauce in them he is a legend give that man his flowers
Hot Sauce, Skip 2 My Lou Should be a HOFer due to the impact on basketball alone. As well as AND1 look at the open runs as of now. They wanna differ in styles but have a similar buzz.
His 1st cousin lived in my cul-de-sac and I didn't know it until I saw two young boys outside with a basketball. One of them had serious handles. I asked him how he learned how to dribble like that and he said Hot Sauce was his cousin. He rattled off names and proved it. I was like "Well Damn"...lol.
Hot sauce was definitely a fan favorite I was only a kid during his run would be great to see him in his prime as an adult. I can't believe he's almost 50 but then again I was like less then 10yo at the time & now I'm almost 30🤣 . The sad part about life is getting old. Enjoy & make the most of your prime while you can..Even though he probably can't do half the stuff he use to at least he left us with great memories & footage to reminisce on💪🙏 Luv you HS🔥💯
I spent MONTHS watching this man on Vol. 3 over and over and over again every day till I finally figured out how to do the slip and slide crossover.. Hot Sauce and AI are legit basketball GODS to me..
Helped me build a career off sauce moves until I could come up with a few of my own. Homage to the Legend Hot Sauce. AND1 changed my life, so many mini tours birthed out of them. Big Ups to Sauce and the whole AND1 Crew.
Hot Sauce & Skip 2 My Lou were the first 2 mixtapes my cousin brought over and I was amazed, I remember trying to be like Sauce. Then when the series was on the air. It was a wrap. Whatever moves I saw I would try to replicate. Man thank you for everything. One hell of a baller. I miss AND1 , we gotta bring it back.
Hot Sauce helped change street ball culture and was literally the face of it during his 2000's run... Had RU-vid on fire and everybody was practicing his dribble sets
Yoo I'm from NYC, but as a kid I looked up skip, alimoe, headache, halfman and pretty much all newyork street ballers. But I will never forget the first time I saw hot sauce. It was nothing like I had ever seen in my life. And bcoz of that I can sincerely say he is the greatest streetballer of all time.
Bro I put these mixtapes on the streets of East London for real. You man bought diff level of charisma to sports in general. We come from a footy background, but watchin them handles OMD. Got lot of my bredrins into b-ball after that the rest is History 🏀
Hot Sauce: The most innovative and influential player/entertainer/ballhandler in the recent basketball history outside the NBA and overseas professional leagues. in second place The Professor. Huge respect from Chile, South America.
I remember him being in the run and shoot back in the day I use to go to ATL in the summer to stay with my pops...he definitely started from the bottom ... salute Sauce!!
Everyone who watched and1 growing up knew that hotsauce was the best one. I would practice his moves in highschool religiously. Later on professor came out with some moves of his own, but still, no one moved like hotsauce. He had Alen Iverson athleticism.
Somebody ask professor where he gets all his moves from 😂😂 this man hot sauce is the god father of streetball yet alone having crazy handles and tricks
Still got my hot sauce bag from when they came to Oakland ca in 2004. Sauce the reason I'd buy the tape then go to the courts and hit every move he did. Even cut my sleeve up like him 💯💯
No Will ever forget...... Hot Sauce Shane the dribbling Machine The Main Event Headache Skip to my Lou Escalade (R.I.P) Flash (R.I.P) Black Widow Alimoe (R.I.P) High Octane The Professor A.O. Aaron Owen Sick Wit It Half Man Half Amazing 50 (Fifty) The Original Goats
Ppl understand that this was “THE GUY” everyone loved and sparked a crazy creativity of handles moving foward like no one had ever seen. Thank the basketball 🏀GAWDS for the sizzle aka HotSauce.
Thank you for your dedication and creativity to the game of basketball 🙏🏾. Watching you play was must see tv. ATL’s FINEST 💯 BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!! #HotSauce #HotSizzle #AND1
Whats up hot sauce? Idk if you remember, I gave you a black shirt when you came to Fairbanks, Alaska with Kingz of the court. The shirt said "B Royal" on the front and "Fit for Kings" of the back. Most people were asking for autographs and pictures but I thought you deserved the shirt. Favorite street ball legend. Wish I could've crossed you up.
He was right. The preview for mixtape 3 was mind blowing. Then when u got the tape and saw him throw the ball behind his back over his head to make it look like it disappeared? #NothingWasTheSame
Hot sauce trully had something to offer the sport of basketball starting with quickness alone that got defenders moving in set up to the art of da talent he displayed. His talent is being guarded in camp defenses.
I remember going to the RUN and Shoot off Stewart Ave( if you know you know) late at night for a pickup game. Chuck D, the dudes from 112, and Hot Sauce would be playing full court at close to midnight. Then off to Nikki’s….those were the days.
Respeto jugadores como kyre, Proffesor, Curry, etc., Pero después de ver a Hot sauce realmente lucen simples, sencillos comunes., Hot sauce es 100% estilo, creatividad, sizzzzle es el #1
me and my cousin 88 babies use to look up to and 1 and there hole crew hotsauce for sure was one of there best i remember his unc or whatever bought the tapes we couldn’t afford we was young we’d watch em on Napster and stuff like dat
Not a single person in the world who watched the mixtapes didn't emulate his moves. I used to love the move he would do when he put the basketball in his shirt. Legend!
