Lahm lives 10 mins from my home, he is such a nice guy, could have won more trophys with a lil more luck, a Legend of Bayern Munich and german national team!
I've grown up watching these two guys play, and now they are both retiring and I am almost in adulthood... Good times don't last forever; but memories does
Two absolute legends of the game. Philipp Lahm was one of my idols when I was younger. Loved his passion and love for the game and that resonated with me personally. Thanks for everything, Phil.
the predator mania, in my opinion, is the most gorgeous boots I've ever seen. I wish I was born then to try them in a match or two. what is greater than these two legends? MIA SAN MIA!
Christian Aguilar my first Adidas pair of boots was the Mania. Bought them in 2003, when I was 17. I've kept them as a souvenir. They still look in great shape.
Cubanlinx63 yeah cuz he wanted to leave I'm sure the club had a say along with the coach which was pep. fuck that piece of shit , he should have stayed in barca. but totally agreed two of the best of their time
Ruben Castro stfu! It was a fucking daylight robbery. Everyone saw it, how deluded can the madrid fans be?!🙁 been doing that ref shit for whole season and can't even accept the clear truth!
What Marie-Eve said. There's another interview where the reporter asks him a question in English, and wants him to respond in English. He understood the question, but said that he would only respond in German because his English isn't great. He probably knows enough to work with new foreign players on the pitch, but doesn't want to use it in media where one wrong word can have such a serious impact.
I feel like I can decently understand written German. Spoken German is a whole lot harder, at least with those who speak it as their primary language. Lahm left me in th dust.
Considering the comment and his name, I think he's dutch (or a belgian from Flanders). Dutch is the closest "big" language to german, with a high lexical similarity. This could explain why he has ease understanding written german.
besides being pros football players learn languages... imagine alonso was playing in England now in germany at least the basic stuff he has to learn of every language ..
