One of the most beautiful and inspired scores of the great French composer Philippe Sarde was composed for Roger Vadim's 1972 story of a mute girl who discovers love, surrounded by people who themselves are fighting their own demons. Sarde's score reflects Helle's innocence and beauty clearly inspired by leading actress' Gwen Welles stunning looks and performance as the vulnerable title character.
