Hi, Aviation763! We're thrilled to have had you onboard for your first PAL flight! We know our journey's been a rollercoaster, but we're constantly working to provide the best experience. We appreciate your feedback on your overall flight experience, and we're delighted to hear it was pleasant. We hope to welcome you onboard with us again in the future! 😊✈
Hi! I very much appreciate your comment. I am happy to hear that PAL listens to feedback, as not all airlines do. I look forward to flying PAL again in the future and hope that PAL will continue to try and improve. I hope you will watch the review of my connecting flight when I publish that, as I have some important feedback I would love you to hear.
My mom and I flew on the A321 with Philippine Airlines which was this same type of plane we flew back in 2016 on a flight to Singapore. Watching this video while observing the interior, nothing has changed with the seats since 2016.
✈Flight review / Trip Report of yours was awesome, lots of helpful info and detailed summary., i see this video is just hot of the press (30 Dec 23). Thanks for all the great trip reports through-out 2023, happy new year for 2024., am looking forward to your upcoming trip's in 2024👍
Great review of what many consider a ‘mid-range’ full service Asian carrier. Your detailed explanations of the airlines history are well researched & spoken - and very interesting! What magnificent views on your approach into Manila - that’s what makes flying so special! ✈️
I love how in Asia serving full hot meals in economy class on short flights is pretty much the norm yet the most you’ll get in Australia is a small hot meal on Qantas on transcontinental flights only… Nice video as always.
I fly both PAL and Thai Airways for my business trips to Bangkok and it's kind of disappointing how PAL is behind when it comes to the meal service and flight equipment (Thai flies a 787 on BKK-MNL-BKK with IFEs on Economy). That and most of the time Thai's ticket price is much lower than PAL's. Though tbh, I still like flying PAL because I can easily converse with the cabin crew and PAL crews are generally friendlier than other airlines'. Must be the language barrier though.
Hi, Aviation763. I watched the last review on PAL A330 and sicerely i find who the flight on PAL A321 is better, is better because i wait this service, but on A330 with 3-3-3 configuration the seat is tigh, and to be honest i wait 2-4-2 configuration, with more legroom(minimum), ´ll improvement with individual screens and others. The meals in both flighs is good, the appearence is good!!! Congrats for his flight reports!!!
Great review! Just a small correction, the FAA downgraded the safety rating of the Philippine aviation authority to Category 2. Because PAL is the main international flag carrier at the time, they were affected the most since for example, they couldn’t adjust schedules and aircraft for their USA routes and having just gotten the 777-300ER, had to fly their new planes to other routes to supplement as much revenue they could to justify the purchase & lease payments. It was especially misreported by bloggers and the media at the time that PAL was downgraded when in fact, all airlines like Cebu Pacific were affected. PAL has had a stellar safety record except for the 60s/70s when there were a few hijackings, bombings and crashes, and in my experience, has some of the most technical and professional crews I’ve experienced. Anyways. Thought I should let you know, new sub here!
Hey Hugo 👋 Awesome trip report buddy 👍 Totally enjoy the detail you present about the airline that you are travelling on. It really is so interesting. I also enjoy the seat features and views taxiing. The engines sounded great spooling up. The meal looked ok, but a sauce would be nice 👌 Looked like a good general flight. Hope you had a great start to 2024 🎉
