Waaaah this is awesome! I’m the one on 5:18! We just came here for a day to roam around and found this beautiful place with great acoustics so we tried singing Izar Edderak (which is one of my favorites!) thanks for this reaction! Brings back beautiful tour memories with the Madz!! ❤️
Finally! A RU-vidr reacted to this! I’ve been watching that video for several years already! Again and again and again ❤️ specially when I’m really feeling down... though I don’t understand the lyrics, I always love it! The quality of their voices and the melody... it really hits my heart... always gives me goosebumps and helps me release the pain inside, you know.
They are one of our inspiration on singing. I am part of the Camerata Philippines Chorale and Chamber Orchestra. Their Choirmaster Maestro Mark Anthony Carpio did very well on the group. Thank you for reacting @Ovela
Everytime I heard catholic choir or Christian's choir singing like angels it brings me to tear I feel healed even I'm still suffering from pain. and almost forgot what happening to the world right now. I feel I'm on christ castle I feel holy and and I feel god is right beside me
You should react to "only in sleep" Sofia Vokalensemble & The Philippine Madrigal Singers. The performance from The 2016 International Choir Festival of Szczecin, Poland. I have met them a couple of times and had workshop with them. Watching them live is just heavenly!!!
Each of them are all pro singers and music masters... They all have perfect pitches... They are the only choir in the world who has the perfect breathing technique... They are the epitomy of perfection... The Philippine Madrigal Singers...
2nd time of requesting to react to their performance of We Beheld Once Again the Stars during the international competition where they won the Grand Prix! 💖
And because I’ve been watching that video for years, that guy with deep voice (bass) became my crush in Madrigal Singers! Lol 😂 *Honestly speaking here 😍❤️😆
Ovela if you want to have a 100% meditation you should listen to St. Francis of Asisi’s prayer of Philippine Madrigal Singers.. i bet you will get into sleep after you hear it! Godbless!
Some of the known music artist here in Philippines comes from a choir group in churches and school. Choir is the foundation of all music genre, some of the musically incline kids join choir one's in their life. And i think that's one of the reason why there's so many talents develop in music industry, plus churches is spread all over the country, I love it you reacted to my idols the madrigal singers ♥️♥️♥️
Just done listening Earth Song covered by MADZ just after watched this reaction of yours, so I came back here just to request to react of Earth Song covered by MADZ😂, I'll gonna wait👌
If only these vloggers knew how many talented chorale groups are there here in our country. 😉 Even in small churches, a lot of choir singers are so damn talented! Especially when they sing "Papuri sa Dios" in Sunday masses, I have heard tons of groups sing it and almost all of them gave me goosebumps! 🔥
Yes this piece is just one of the many of my favorite song renditions of the MADZ chorale group. Many of us Pinoys know that this group is one of the best chorale group, not only in the Philippines but in the whole world, winning two EGP (Euro Grand Prix Choral) competition, only considered the "Olympics" of chorale competition. React to their 2007 winning performances at the EGP held at Arezzo, Italy. Their performances there blew me away.
I love u Madz!! Please react to their rendition of Circle Of Life (so amazing) you can hear invisible animals with them), Sanay Wala Ng Wakas, Bituing Walang Ningning ( I love the 2010, 2015 batch)
I'll tell you 1 MADZ singer vs. 50 members. That MADZ singer will still standout among others. They are also pitch perfect due to their trainings. Their training includes quartet and singing while sitting but still sounds grandiose.
Goosebumps here man reminds me of my choir here in the Philippines when I was young we also do SATB some times with tenor 1 and soprano 2. I'm tenor baritone.
The "Madz" is short and the very fond nickname for the Madrigals. When you paused at 4'11" and 6'46," you caught Mark Carpio, the choir master, on freeze (also the one closest to the camera bowing at the end of the Circle of Life" video) The Madz aren't religious singers or was formed sor church music, but do have spiritual or religious pieces in their repertoire as with any choral group. This performance would be the choral group equivalent of a flash mob :D
Believe me.. they are all tenors and sopranos.. some need to lower their tone taking bass mode just to harmonize.. but damn hearing them in live will give you chills..
They used to be called the UP Madrigal Singers because the choir members before were all students from the University of the Philippines but it eventually became open to non-UP students/alumni as long as they pass the auditions so the name was changed to Philippine Madrigal Singers. I used to go to the same church as their choir master Mark Anthony Carpio inside the UP campus when I was still a student.
Madz is like the Regine (Queen) of Choirs in the the Philippines. Nothing but perfection. If you hear them perform live, it's so CLEAN as if a recording. They hit and sustain notes effortless due to efficient staggard breathing among members.
Hi ovela, u wouldn't mind reacting to them singing in french would you? Please search for Philippine madrigal singers with UT Tyler patriot chorale group. Start of the song at 4:35 .. many thanks
Yasss!!! I am about to request this!!! 4:57 that's Nil's (Bass) 5:18 5:35 that's Jacqui (Soprano) 7:30 and that's Sir Mark Anthony Carpio (Choirmaster) Most of the members here are no longer in MADZ. This was the batch that I am familiar with.
@@sweetmusx aaaaw no problem!!!
God bless Miss Jacqui! Stay safe!
